Even though he's been a little unhinged lately, it's too bad he's gone. He's an interesting character and has made some good contributions to discussions over the years.

Sorry, but slagging off Trudeau just doesn't have the same effect on a thread as discussing Trump. You only need to look at all the posts in this very thread which I removed from the US discussion thread to get why. Dealing with that many threads and reports simply isn't an effective way of handling it. We were racking up pages of reports just while we discussed the best way to approach that.
If it makes you feel better, by all means throw in any criticisms you like at ScoMo and "The Plan®". It's unlikely to devolve into a massive thread derail.
Likewise CT crap spam, memes and social media fake news. Only effective way to deal with it is dedicated threads and reply bans.

I have a tendency to assume people on here are taking the piss though, because the alternative is depressing.

If trump is such a giant fuckup that he is commented on more in threads regarding his policy, that's on him, not TDS on the part of the commemters. I know you're not a fan of him, and Mike mc Mann lost his shit with them all for double standards, seems arkain " cut n paste bot " 2k was quick to jump on any negative remarks. I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy, if all they got on reply to that is to cry tds! I'm good with that, cos you know when it gets a grip in the states ol Donnie is gonna fuck it up big style....
