I want my carcass to be thrown in a playground and left there so the kids can get some education out of my death

I like Japanese cemeteries. Everyone’s headstone is the same, cremation is required, and they’re built so everyone’s plot is the same size and shit. And usually they’re on the sides of hills to provide a “view”/an area that couldn’t be used for businesses or apartments

What’s so bad about feeding the birds and other critters with delicious human flesh? @senri help me out here.

we lost my oldest uncle in 2013. his daughter, my oldest cousin, was supposed to buy the headstone. she never did. we kept asking her what was up when we'd go visit him, & she'd get pissed. she even objected to us offering to chip in/flat out cover all expenses from the day we buried him, & many times after.

then my oldest uncle's wife, my favorite aunt - we lost her in 2015. same deal with the headstone.

I lost my father this past November. my uncle & aunt are buried next to each other. they along with my mom & pops purchased their plots together way back when - so they would all be buried next to each other. so as we were burying my dad, my uncle & aunt's graves remained unmarked without any headstones - all these years.

not anymore. we said "fuck it", & purchased a mega dual headstone for my aunt & uncle, when we purchased one for my dad when we lost him.

we're never going to tell my cousin. we're going to see if she even notices, because we know she hasn't been visiting her parents. she's only gone with us once to visit them.

it's not done to spite her, but I don't know how she could be so disrespectful - she lives literally 10 minutes away from the cemetery where it takes us about an hour & a half to get there, all the way out in Long Island.

famiglia man, motherfucking famiglia.

To be fair, graveyards aren’t for the dead. It’s so those that are left have a place to mourn.

Friend of mine passed away a couple years ago and he wanted a Viking funeral. City wouldn’t let us ACTUALLY light a boat with his body on it on fire so he was cremated then we placed the urn on said boat and lit that on fire.

We still got fined. His family kept some of the remains though in an urn in their house.

I hear you on the headstone but my family has never been one to visit graves of loved ones.

That's why we have all those family photo albums

We have some Japanese cemeteries out here like that. It was also common for families to be buried right on the family land, like in the back or front yard. That’s rural Hawai’i for ya.

You could do that without coffins and the weird rows though

Has anyone taken an FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam? I need to get my PE and that's the first step.

Saw electrical engineer is combined with computer engineering and now I'm kinda worried about how much needing to study. Thought I could just brush up and wing it til this

After a Sapien has exhausted all of their lifeforce it is better for them to be consumed by the soils of the earth providing nutrients to the bacteria housed in ones colon.

i think half his rivalry w/ Camut was based off looks haha
Camut looked normal, which means in that world he was a playboy type, while Sartre looks like an evil, cockeyed Toby Jones?
