The opposite. Currently taking a shit.

You can't resist an element of yourself. I'm here to assuage you towards your most radiant form.... It's sliding slowly inside you and the transition is smooth as well. The malleability of your cortex is starting to oscillate nicely...

Just to be clear, you are not condemning the policies that Clinton (both) and Biden supported and/ or executed that lead to the disproportionate incarceration of black and brown people and you’re not condemning the policies that Clinton (both), Biden, and Obama pushed, supported, and/ or executed that killed, injured, displaced, and subjected to disease millions of innocent people?

And, just to be clear, you’re okay with the Obama Administrations willingness to cut Medicare and Social Security?

Your characterization of the policy views of people you disagree with are here and generally absurd. Further, I believe that you are well aware of that (obviously if someone really holds a position, it's not an attack to say that they believe it, and they will defend it, while you do present your misrepresentations as reality). Any foreign-policy decision that a U.S. president makes (including inaction) can be tied to many horrible outcomes, and that people should weigh the tradeoffs before making policy decisions.

And if you asking my thoughts on short-term stimulus in exchange for long-term debt reduction, with changing the calculation of inflation for the purposes of calculating future SS benefits as part of the deal, I'd say that it's a tough call (as I'm sure it was for the administration). I haven't done the research to weigh it. Ron Paul's view that Social Security should be abolished and is somehow a form of slavery is ridiculous and cruel, though.

@Jack V Savage @Anung Un Rama can you guys call a truce ?

You guys aren't going to agree and you don't seem to be getting anywhere at this point , personally ( for what it's worth ) I'd rather you two use your time contributing to other topics .

Either that or we arrange a duel ...

So you don’t condemn them you rationalize them, but Ron Paul is bad. Got it. /conversation.

I agree to agree that his claim that I was lying when I said that he enthusiastically supported Ron Paul (and that Ron Paul holds the views that he has advocated) was false. I also agree to agree that agreeing to cut costs by maintaining per-person benefit levels for Social Security (as opposed to increasing per-person benefits) in exchange for emergency relief is fundamentally different from thinking that Social Security is evil and should be abolished. I further agree to agree that Anung is aware of that and is deliberately misrepresenting the situation.

No, the conversation was about you claiming that I was lying when I pointed out that you were a Ron Paul cheerleader.

And then you've taken to trying to suggest that other people who weren't part of the discussion were as bad as Ron Paul on extremely flimsy, dishonest premises.

Ok, sure.

@Rod1 How do you feel about the current crime rates in Mexico, particularly since AMLO took power?

I've seen a bunch of news articles on assassinations of left-wing types in Mexico lately. An environmentalist, an animal welfare guy, and now a women's rights activist.

"Creasy's art is death, and he's about to paint his masterpiece" - Chris Walken, Man on Fire

Trump saying he likes Gone With The Wind is hilarious. Trump doesn't strike me as having the attention span to make it to the intermission. Heck, he might not have the attention span to make it through the overture.
he was on stage, alert, for multiple hours during every single GOP debate (unlike say Biden)

hopefully you guys are just failing at being humorous, and don't actually believe this nonsensical stuff

Man, bro art house action movies make up the weirdest fucking film genre ever.

To be fair, that one was the top shelf of the genre, but others like Death Sentence, Law Abiding Citizen, and A Man Apart. Yeesh. Pretty god awful stuff.

Death Sentence may still be, to this day, the worst movie I've ever seen.

I liked Law Abiding Citizen. Completely unrealistic but it was awesome.

Trump has a high attention span when the topic is his favorite subject: himself.

Fair enough, well played

I really wish Macaulay Culkin told more Trmp stories from Home Alone 2 when he was on Rogan's podcast

lol imagine Trump and Pence sitting in one of their living rooms to watch GWTW and drink soft drinks. 5 minutes in Trump would be complaining that he's bored asking when Scarlett takes her dress off.

They are on the rise and AMLO is making it worse, he basically dissolved the federal police and all those years of training and he is trying to push his "national guard" a militarized police that has absolutely no training in police activity, he put the Navy on the bench which led to disasters like that of Culiacan where drug cartel made them release a captive.

At least the Navy is back on action after that, clearly America wont tolerate Mexico letting cartels run rampant.

Weird that you call them "left wing" i dont think these people are political, they care about specific issues and people who get murdered usually report about organized crime.

Its not really new, it happens all the time, enviromental guy was denouncing illegal logging carried by organized crime.

I dont know who is the animal welfare guy you mention and women's right activist who get killed usually report about human trafficking.

Mexico became the most dangerous country for journalists, its officially more dangerous to report about crime in Mexico than about war in Syria.
