@Jack V Savage have you read this:

This Book Is Not About Baseball. But Baseball Teams Swear by It.
A psychology book by a Nobel Prize-winning author has become a must-read in front offices. It is changing the sport.

It's so sweet that you two have become able to bond over literally the most boring possible shared interest in the world.

I'm not a baseball fan, was more interested in the book. Given its following within baseball, I was wondering if Jack had read it.

Of baseball?
the book is related to the psychology of decisions making; its geared toward economics and has a following amongst baseball gms and scouts.
I have very little interest in baseball; only a very general interest in economics, but a bigger interest in the psychology of decision making.

Yes

Compared to baseball, economics is practically football.

Playing baseball was always fun. Even going to a game is pretty cool. Watching high school baseball when my nephews are play is also a good time. Watching MLB on tv is pretty boring and not a fun time.

I had a crackhead fling a shovel full of snow at me today. Then she screamed that she was calling the cops and ran away. Highlight of my day
Did you tackle her to the ground, cuff her and then just leave her there?

Nah, she's got worse shit to deal with in life than me. I just laughed. I've fought way to many crackheads in the middle of the street over the course of my life.

Recipe/method?

I kinda winged it, but you can sautee finely chopped mushrooms with spices and drain the oil and shape the mushrooms like a cut of beef, lightly brush it with mustard and wrap it in puff pastry.

Pretty simple. The hardest part about a beef wellington is getting a good medium rare from the beef. No such worries with mushrooms.
