Ohio State mid-level?? I think they just sneak into the top-level category.
Off the top of my head, I'd have: William & Mary, Virginia, Berkeley, UCLA, North Carolina, Michigan, Texas, Illinois, Ohio State.
Of course, it all depends on how big you want to make the categories.
No way, I’d imagine Ohio State to be way down that list (30-40th range). Even a school like University of MD would be ranked higher. Plus you have schools like Penn State above both of them. I’d love for somebody to find an actual ranking, but I’m not sure how you even measure that kind of thing. Average GPA and SAT scores to get in? Salary after leaving? I have no idea.
