War Room Lounge Thread v180: I'm assuming "The Nazis" is an obscure Canadian Ska Band.

I need to actually sit down and listen to their newer music, I fell off a bit after Scurrilous

Lyrically they are a breath of fresh air compared to other people in the prog/metalcore scene

Kezia and Fortress still get played often by me

Unpopular opinion but Volition and Palimpsest (their newest albums, where this song is from) are my favorites.

Check my edit for one of my favorite lines in the song. And listen til the end for something that makes you both angry and hopeful.

I was hooking up with a chick and after a few booty calls she started telling me about her fantasy and I ghosted lmao.

Shoulda hid in the bushes with a hunting knife and a duct tape purse

I have such a strong urge to post that disclaimer in every thread about leftist violence.

The last time I posted it, idiots thought I was accusing them of advocating violence, when it's the safest way for me to basically plea the fifth.

"Cop got smashed with a baseball bat by leftist scum!"

"You're not antifa. I can't imagine you hitting a cop!"

*Disclaimer*

You initially told me to tag you next time when I bashed antifa. I honestly had no idea you identify as that. I understood why you posted that disclaimer to the other guys afterwards.

I don't condone unnecessary violence, but I also don't believe all violence is unnecessary.

That's awesome. I totally crashed last night early. How many tries did it take you

Fewer than I originally thought it would. Thankfully it was rare for Japanese Ska bands to play Warped Tour in the late 2000s.
I'll definitely be listening to this song often for the next few days before I get stoned and forget they exist... again

Damn that's a good line. Another band I listened to at the time was Enter Shikari. They started to get political with their lyrics but their singer just isn't that insightful/intelligent so it falls flat. The difference in quality between the bands lyrics is staggering when you compare them even though they are basically singing about the same stuff.

Rody Walker took over the lyrics and a lot of it is very on the nose, but effective nonetheless.

Not surprised, their bassist seemed like a very intelligent person so I wouldn't expect silly ass Rody to quite on the same level

Still likely levels above the juvenile crap Rou was pushing out when trying to turn Enter Shikari into Rave Against The Machine

As long as you don’t ever beat me up ok man?

I haven't listened to Enter Shikari at all, but Rody's lyricism is basic but very effective. In a minute I'll be back at my PC and post one of my favorites and some background.

Nice
I wont bother you to listen to Enter Shikari, they were a fun trance hardcore band that sang songs about aliens and doing coke in club bathrooms when all of a sudden they decided singing about the government to shitty dubstep breakdowns was their new style
