War Room Lounge Thread v179: You got this Big Dog.

That vid of the guy in the canoe with a lab where the goose keeps attacking his dog.....

He manages to grab it and throw in out like 4 times. Most guys I know would have tried to break the goose’s neck on attempt 2.

Everytime one has come at me with outstretched wings and hissing I would always wonder what I would do if they attacked my genitals... usually envisioned grabbing them by the neck and swinging them around like an Olympic hammer throw.

Made platinum in Overwatch competitive and that will carry my self esteem forward for about another week. God I love this game.

The segment where he has a bunch of religious leaders and the Catholic priest says "Jesus was born in a manger because the inn was full" and Cohen immediately responds "Because it was Christmas?" was incredible.

Although that's an old joke, his ability to riff in character whilst coming across as genuine is incredible.

This is also an incredibly political act.

I do not know if i am looking forward to the debate or Borat more.

Geese and ducks can both be complete fucking assholes. Pretty sure a male duck can kill a female duck just with their dick because the thing has like a fucking hook on it and shit.

@MMAisGod

This is the vid I am referencing in the AOC Among Us thread:

The whole thing is funny but Panda throws around 10 minutes and 30 seconds in and it's fucking hilarious when he does.

Given they also plays games I am sure @Rational Poster and @Falsedawn will get a kick out of this one.

I watched the AOC stream live.

The wild ones are insane. Ours are essentially wild turkeys that we feed

Granted they aren't an the level of geese. Dicks.

Would a Canadian Goose fuck up a turkey?

Those fuckers don't fuck around when they come down here.

I didn't cause I was busy adding a viewer count to a friend that was streaming so he hopefully gets partnered on Twitch.

From what I heard though AOC ain't the greatest at the game lol

Didn't see a thread about the Sackler drug empire. They pleaded "corporate guilty" to crimes including pushing doctors to overprescribe. They have to pay 8 billion out of the company, but looks like they get to keep the billions they personally withdrew. Nobody is in any trouble. Fucking typical.

I mean it was literally her first time playing and she was playing with literally some of the best players in the world.

Yes it was the first time I bought something from a guy I only know via Sherdog and it was a great success

<DCWhoa>
I feel like once you set aside political differences and the reasons for them [insert knowing wink.gif] the large majority of the regulars around here are decent people at heart that would never harm another sherdogger IRL out of malice. The only problem, of course, is there's always bound to be that one shitheel in the group and you have now idea whom it may be so regardless of my opinion of the character of the average WR regular, it still takes a fair but of trusting nature to take the interaction beyond Sherdog, imho.

It's also a game predicated on being a good liar.

That's part of it sure, but there is a ton of more "meta" strategies than just being a convincing liar I'd say.

Knowing the maps, knowing the tasks and how long they take, and being able to read other player's behaviors ingame and in the meetings is a lot more important and is something that just takes a bit of practice.

Having the knowledge/experience makes your lies better too.
