Byedon, ok, I looked a little askance at it at when first used on here a little earlier but it's growing on me because in the end I am a total sucker when it comes to puns.
Go buy a six pack and a 4 wheeler and maybe get the Hooters girl number?
Wow that’s awesome bro. Congrats. That’s a lot of beer.I just won 1,000 bucks on a 10 dollar scratcher Holy shit
so I told @Clippy the other day.
my 2tb FireCuda crashed on me, lovely. this is were I stored all of my Clippy & Gizmo 'shops/templates.
I mean it's not completely dead, but that shit is on its last legs, for sure. it has a 5yr warranty but I'm wondering, should/could I trust Seagate to retrieve it all? I never trust these companies to retrieve data for you, I've always had failed experiences professionally..
I mean I could do it myself, little by little. I'm just too lazy.
but I've been missing out on primo 'shop opportunities haha. plus I had all of my saved & untested game data on that drive.
@Arqueto - this is another reason that secures my laziness to not 'shop etc. haha
The more wise choice.<Lmaoo><Lmaoo><Lmaoo>
It'll probably go to fixing up some small stuff on my car and maybe paying off my last debt in collections.

Legit that's the biggest reason I have been ranting about the stimulus checks. I'm lucky enough to still have my job but getting an influx of $1200 to send straight to paying down debt would be fucking swell.
jesus christ lol:
Beto's "you damn right we're going to take your AR15s and AK47s"
Look, they all say "we'll set up a buyback" but do you think the government will pay me the $1300 I paid to build my rifle if a mandatory buyback is a thing? No... they'll give me $200 and tell me to be happy while they ship my gun to an Army armorer to get it converted to be fully automatic or some shit.
Basically I am worried they will do what CA has done which makes a ton of firearms asically useless to be used for personal protection just based on how limited the ammo capacity is.
Revolvers when they break they're done for you have to send them off to get fixed. And they're limited capacity and shooting with a pistol is harder than shooting with a rifle. For an AK47, how much ammo capacity do you need for personal protection? Are you planning on there being an I Am Legend-style zombie siege on your home?
Personally, I never get the personal protection argument since it would seem to me that all one should reasonably need for personal protection is a snub nose revolver, a pistol, and a pump action shotgun. The first and third of which are the coolest guns you can have anyways.
It will be spent wisely and I'll save whatever's left over.
I impulse bought 70 dollars worth of tickets and was fully prepared to be left completely disappointed and in deep regret but I ended up winning 1,042 dollars in total.
congrats dude!!It sucks that 1,000 bucks is life changing money, but I'm not going to look that horse in the mouth.

The best home defense firearm if you could afford it and have it is a .300 Blackout AR pistol shooting subsonic ammo with a suppressor. Limited over penetration and anyone can shoot it since it's so forgiving.
As to shotguns:
Shotguns can wreck the shooter if they aren't prepared for it.
And if I am using my AR15 or an AK47 (that I don't own) I want 30 rounds.
This is my favorite part:jesus christ lol:
He also works with fellow soldiers suffering from PTSD, so he has seen first hand the proven healing power training has. “Jiu-jitsu is like therapy for me. I can go just be another as*hole in a gi and try to strangle people and escape for an hour or two a night,” he says.
Right away, it’s apparent that his intentions are more evolved than just making a quick buck. “Me and my team all have good jobs in addition to running this show. We’re not in this for the money. Everything we made on the first the show we just put back into the event.”
Maybe he finally found his one true home. This is my favorite part:
Formerly, Ryan worked in concert production — a background that has opened many doors to understanding the ins and outs of setting up high-level showsApparently attending Rock Camp counts as concert production. AYY.
But seriously, that promotion seems to be doing well so good for him I say.
You'd be wrong. The way an AR-15 works anyone can learn to shoot it with it's recoil impulse.Gregory, I need not remind you that you are not a little girl. Point taken for the little girls, although I would assume they'd struggle to handle an assault rifle as wel.
It might be unique to the area I live in but home invasions when they happen it's no longer a single intruder, there's 3-4 and with adrenaline running.. you think you can get all 10 you are allowed to have on target? You basically get 2 per person if 4 bust in the door and only 2 spares if you miss.Trotsky said:But for personal protection? Why? I just can't imagine the scenario where that is reasonably necessary: where a guy defending himself from intruders fails to protect his life because he only had 10 bullets in his AK rather than 30. At least with handguns, I get the ammo capacity argument since you might be carrying them in public where you could come upon a band of ruffians and need to fire at many people, however remarkably unlikely that scenario may be.
