I don't think anyone is actually basing an assessment of intelligence on political allegiance. I mean, there's likely a halo or reverse halo affect that clouds people's judgments to *some* extent, but people can mostly tell. I mean, didn't I just say that I think that wai is smarter than you? I probably agree with you more than with him on policy, but I'd bet that he'd whup you in any test you can devise. I'd bet on you over franklinstower, even though I'd agree more with him than with you.

He's a great character. It is easy to sympathize with him over all the stuff that sets him off. Re-watching the film will help you notice he was a piece of shit though, as his wife wasn't keeping him from his daughter out of spite but out of fear instead.

I've smoked weed maybe a hundred times, and probably only noticed feeling anything twice (ed: maybe more like four times). I just take my turn when it's being passed around and agree that it's good stuff to be polite. If people give it to me as a gift, I accept gratefully, but just give it to someone else later it so it doesn't go to waste. But edibles of all sorts absolutely fuck me up.
