Speaking of cooking, about to make an attempt at a really good Shepherd's Pie recipe I got from a bird in Chelmsford.

Also, why is this shit show scheduled to start at 9PM tonight? That's enough time for members of Congress to go have

dinner and get drunk before the address.

Maybe it will be decent comedy, who knows.

Shepherds pie is awesome. Never tried it but def be down.

Not to brag, but my wife is a very skilled cook and she has the occasional disaster too. If you aren't failing you aren't trying to challenge yourself, IMO. I don't think that's a bad thing if you can learn from it, though it can be inconvenient in the moment. Beats sticking to the same ol' same ol' any time.

I had the weirdest morning cigarette today. I wake up and go on my patio, and see 2 squirrels about to fight on my shed. I'm used to it. One of my 3 birdfeeders is filled with sunflower seeds and 3-4 squirrels fight every day for the territory.

The mighty beasts clash. One bites the other on the neck and then they start passionately fucking (should I say "making sweet squirrel love?!?").

I'm confused. Should I watch? Avert my gaze?

I watched.

Two thinks I couldn't eat much that my ex-fiance from Taiwan lived were chicken feet and stinky tofu... nope... I'm good

I tried to give the chicken feet a chance but I couldn't deal with all the bones. I lost all appetite after smelling stinky tofu. Chicken knees is another one that I'm not going to touch.

I just don't know what the attraction is. Its just skin, bones and cartilage. They used to have whole streets in the night markets in Taiwan dedicated to stinky tofu. You could smell it before you even got on the street. I never had the opportunity at chicken knees LOL but that's another one that seems pointless
