I decided to rewatch Reservoir Dog, Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown (havent see any of them in over a decade)...always had RD as Tarantinos best movie and JB above PF....but honestly, JB is his weakest movie along side Kill Bill and I really overrated RD. Tim Roth and and Keitel were super hammy in their acting and Mr White and Mr.Orange seemed like homosexual lovers for a few scenes.

The only scene I really remember from RD is the torture scene where he walks out to the car. Stood out a lot. Without it, wouldn’t be very memorable.

I agree Jackie Brown is one of his weaker movies but Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are great. I'm also a big fan of The Hateful Eight but think Roth's performance there was a bit hammy. I got the impression that he was playing the role impersonating Waltz's performances in Django and Inglorious Basterds.

Hateful Eight is a great script to read but felt several actors in that film hammed it up. I did enjoy the movie overall. Reservoir Dogs for some reason isn't holding up for me. Loved it in my 20's....less so in my 40's. Feels like everyone is playing a caricature of gangsters aside from Buscemi and Penn who were fantastic. Shame Chris Penn died so young...i think he played slightly odd ball characters so well
