FINALLY, that old ass POS Carter croaked.

At least he was able to pass away knowing he was not the worst POTUS of all time after all.

*looks at ice cream Joe

This has to be the worst thing I've seen you post. An altruistic guy that spent decades as a philanthropist helping Americans reach their dream of having their own homes. And if you aren't partisan the consensus worst President of all time is the only one that has been impeached twice.

You do not call Mr. Carter a POS, and he certainly isn't anywhere close to being the worst POTUS, even in my lifetime. Even though I disagree with some of his policies such as the ban on nuclear fuel reprocessing, he didn't do nearly as much damage to the US and its society as the Presidents who followed him. Every single POTUS after Carter has done more damage to the US, even St. Reagan, Clinton, and Obama.

<TrumpWrong1> W holds that title.
I voted for him twice and think his mistake was relying on his father's counselors in his administration. And partisanship aside, yes Cheney was a sack of shit, but you can't blame offspring for the crimes of the father and Liz knowingly stood up against tyranny at the cost of her career in politics.

You voted for Bush in 04? After we invaded Iraq and found no WMDs or 9/11 connection?

Allowed a shit heel country like Iran to hold US diplomats hostage, in direct violation of the Geneva Convention btw, for FOUR HUNDRED AND FORTY FOUR DAYS until they were released hours after Reagan was sworn in.
A tool who entered office with a 6.3% inflation rate and left office with it hovering around 19%. Way to fuck over millions
of average Americans who wanted to 'reach their dream of owning their own homes.'
Someone who, after a miserable term with multiple abject failures, demanded his ENTIRE cabinet resign as recompense.

Yep, great guy.
I know you're just stirring the pot though, good job.

Welcome to Earth, alien.
Read some literature from the past before commenting.
Intelligent Earthlings thank you in advance.

As I explained I believe that, and the government sponsored torture of Islamic radicals, was due to his being duped by the cabinet he surrounded himself with. I'm pretty sure it's hard to deny guys like Cheney misled him. Also Bin Laden put out some threats if Americans voted him in again. Fuck that guy in the bullet hole in his face and hopefully the crabs didn't get diarrhea eating his corpse.

The problem is you have a very short term view of history. You can point to Carters failures in international & economic policy, and I'd agree that some things were poorly handled. However, nothing he's done has been nearly as destructive to the US in the long term as free market deregulation of the entire economy which has resulted in the de-industrialization of the US along with everything being financialized which has massively driven up the cost of living. Every single problem you have with immigration, shitty & expensive healthcare & education, unaffordable housing, poor wages, runaway military spending, and endless foreign wars can be traced back to Reagan and the other shitbags who came after Carter.

Well, to be honest I was 6 during the '80 election, so I'm more basing my opinion on him after his term. Maybe he was a shitty President but he loved America and helped the needy for decades after leaving office.

honest admission, but perhaps clouded by decades of false narrative...which is OK!

I was an undergrad at UC Berkeley during that time. A period of turbulence, polarization and rancor.
But everyone, regardless of political leanings, still engaged in DIALOGUE ffs.
No one was diabolically 'cancelled' because it was understood that differing viewpoints made
for informed, progressive and intelligent interaction.

jeez, what happened?

So basically you agree with everything I said, with some pseudo/quasi crack induced ramble without context or impact as a response.
Your verbal incontinence is both irritating and tiresome.

Good day.

heard a new word today though, so I got that going for me.

"whataboutism".

does it come in a 12 pack?

Yeah that was a classless post but let's not pretend you lefties aren't the forum leaders in celebrating people's deaths. You guys do it every time a right wing person dies.
