So I decided to never win the Nobel prize.
The menu is way too weird for me
this year they serve

The starter consists of baked beetroot with seaweed, salt and a seaweed cream from the west coast. It is served with buttermilk, dill and sturgeon.

For the main course, cod loin with king crab is served, together with kohlrabi roll, fried body cake filled with cod and king crab and a sauce on grilled mussels.

The dessert consists of a chocolate cream with a lingonberry compote, flavored with tar syrup.

So no, sorry I wont win / accept the price.
If I cant get a well done steak with ketchup its a no from me.

Also @irish_thug I want a snack.
Give me

That meal sounds delicious. So, you can win. Just send me in your place :D

Now, get back to work lol

Now, to play Devil's Advocate for a moment, don't you think cod loin plus king crab is a bit too heavy for full enjoyment of such a large meal? I mean, without seeing portions it's hard to be sure of anything, but it sounds awfully rich.

I agree I enjoy eating rich substances once every 2 weeks. I would consume everyday but they take a lot of...... preparation...... I can eat more with guests around me. I like to make sure everyone is fed adequately under my care....

Indeed, I'm big on variety so I love the Japanese way of doing things, lots of little dishes of all sorts of different things.

On a recent trip to Japan, we stayed in a traditional inn called a ryokan and our breakfast consisted of maybe a dozen different little dishes, seared salmon--cooked at the table, miso soup (of course lol), tofu, tsukemono (a very particularly Japanese style of pickles you may or may not be familiar with), fruit, tofu, yogurt, rice (of course lol take two), and more I know I am forgetting. I have a picture around somewhere. I'll post it shortly.

But for now, this is what a similar breakfast looked like on an earlier visit:

@senri here it is,

Apparently, I forgot about the egg served 2 different ways, the grapefruit w/ grape, the salad, and the shiitake with ginger. If you've never been, I cannot recommend it strongly enough.
