I dont understand how braids arent professional but I dont get why tats and piercings upset people either. If you are look clean and got on an outfit that doesnt look slept in it should be all good ya know . People really like to have social control of other people and to force them to conform to their norms. I find it weird

I've found the bigger and more ossified the company, the more likely they are to have a pretty narrow corporate image they are trying to present. I'm sure I've been looked over for roles for being too hairy.
On the other hand I often end up seeming to getting roped into the client relation roles in team anyway. Not that I'm any sort of social butterfly, but I guess it's all relative in IT. Same reason I got a management position, most likely because I was the only one in a team of five that wasn't a bit socially handicapped.

Hence the focus on natural hairstyles in the workplace.

You see it in that thread. People see a burst fade as "unkempt" as if the hair growing up is inherently more bad than the hair growing down. So black women are hit particularly hard because a kinky hairstyle will seem "unkempt" to people whose ideal is long and straight. That's why weave got so big.

Luckily we're seeing a reversal of these policies as more people are making noise, so it's getting better.

The burst fade thing is another weird one. That looks neat and tidy to me , its not corn rows and cant be called a thug style and it seems like that would be easy to maintain and get ready in the morning. Anyone who would be bothered by that hairstyle is probably an asshole who shouldnt be catered to.

People giving black folks a hard time about their hair pisses me off false. Its not a very punk thing to do

When I was a teenager I wished I had black people hair because it looked like it would be easier to put up in a sweet hawk or spikes than my limp straight hair that took a bottle of glue every few days

gotta be easier to do that with hair that already wants to stand up was my line of thought, None of my buddies would let me try it out and test my theory though

Natural refers to texture. It's a style that doesn't change the texture of the hair with chemicals or treatments.

Ok. So the law says chemicals or treatments can't be required, but requiring something neatly pruned is still allowable?

Is that a barret ?

Should be. :)

Here's another .50BMG.

"Natural hair" style not "natural" hairstyle.

Unless it's a wig, doesn't every style come from the natural hair?

Not if you need a perm to get a bob.

I like the minimalist look to that one. Did you make that too ?

When you take that to the range or your property or wherever you shoot it what distance do you shoot targets at ? Whats the furthest target you have hit with that. Im a decent shot but once I have to start doing math and I have to aim 9 feet to the left and 7 feet high we are out at a distance I cant shoot at

Based on your post it seemed you misunderstood the point so I explained it to you. Do you understand? Is there a need for further clarification?

No, you never had a point in the first place. If the bill is to protect 'natural' hair styles then it would only protect the afro.

It's actually a bill to allow black people to wear whatever hairstyle they want to work and not get fired over it, which is fine, but would be better if it was simply a bill that protected all hairstyles for everyone.

Neither of the .50cal pics are mine. I do own a Barrett, although it's still a virgin.

I never shoot past 100 yards. Long-range precision hasn't captured the ol' interest.

I like self defense shooting better but from time to time I hunt so I guess I would say close range and mid range are my interests but the long range shit seems like way to pricey of a hobby to get into.

We shot 3 gun on the property up north multiple times over the summer and I really liked it. At some point I would like to try my hand in a competition but I got to get some fancier guns first I think . We were doing more 4 gun though. Glock 29 , remington 870 and m14 and a savage 7mm. . I was going to shop for a .300 win mag this fall but I got bit by the ar bug and decided Id get one of those instead. I really like rifles dude I have yet to meet one that I didnt enjoy shooting. I kind of want an oldschool enfeild with a scope too. I saw a cheap one at a gun show a few years back now and I have regretted not getting it for a while

I dont really enjoy shotguns a whole lot but I have never fired any of the new expensive fancy ones with no recoil. That old 870 kicks like a mule and I find when I am in a hurry to get rounds off I dont always tuck it in as tight as I should. I know better but I forget myself in the moment sometimes.

Sounds like fun. What's your AR budget?

I'm with you on shotguns. Though I wanna like 'em more.

I want to know how many rounds he shoots before his shoulder goes numb. :D

A little water and a comb will take care of that. Shampoo and conditioner, what are you some kind of fancy pants?

As a youth there were these couple morning I mistook creme-rinse for shampoo. Had the greasiest looking hair. Judgment and shame at school transpired. :(

What's your AR budget?

Bout 580 I think is what I saw those m and p sports going for. So I guess im looking to spend about 600 or so . Should I get the oracle instead ? Is there another ar in that price range you like better? I read the Rugar 5.56 has some feeding problems so I crossed that one off my list

@LifeIsNotFair you can chime in here too if you want I know you seem to know your ars

I dont need it to be the most accurate ar15 in the world I just need it to go bang when I pull the trigger reliably and not cost a fortune. Im just looking for a starter model to learn the guns ins and outs.
