Not from Rockford. But work here now for past year. Almost every morning see a local news story about a shooting or armed robbery from over the night

Yeah, I moved to an apartment complex there, because it was about a 3 minute ride to the shop in the morning. Loves Park or Byron are better places to live. I don't know if it still exists but there was a restaurant called Reruns at the strip mall at that intersection. I lived off their steak and rice. :D

Why?

I think that's the best route. Every round should be 4 out of 7, for sports that are less physical than Hockey. If fucking Hockey requires four long series' to win, what the hell is the excuse for other leagues? I hated that 3 out of 5 shit the NBA had for no reason.

Baseball is even more ridiculous. How 'bout you cut down the absurd season length, and make a sensible playoff format? It kills me that a team can have a damn good season(playing 162 fucking games) all undone by a one game playoff. With Football I get it. That shit is insanely physical. Baseball though? Really? Nut up, you pussies.

I live just a bit north of loves park. Yeah, up there is a lot nicer and stress free to live now with a family. 35 minute commute is a drag but worth it for that
