Haha yeah, no chance of that during high school for me and it was the mid-2000s although there was one dude who was basically my down low BF from 7th grade through our senior HS year.

It was all also kind of offset by being perfectly happy to date girls. The high school was literally a couple hundred feet from my house; I can't count how many times I skipped out around lunch while the parents were still at work. <45>

I don’t think there’s been a person on here I’ve ever wanted to fight. The time I remember getting pretty mad on here was when Leben had to quit on his stool in a fight. People were calling him not a really fighter/ coward etc. That actually may have been close to the end of me posting in there regularly so I definitely overreacted at the time.

It is weird the things that set us off. I freely admit I can get hot. But there is not a fighter or sports team that I could ever get pissed over.

I mean, if Leben didn’t have that late career win streak, there wouldn’t be a bunch to look back on.

When a fighter loses or has a subpar performance they become instabums or instacans.

It is weird the things that set us off. I freely admit I can get hot. But there is not a fighter or sports team that I could ever get pissed over.

Football still gets me. I’ve narrowed sports down to those two and feel like I should just cut it to MMA to avoid the pointless joy/ anger over a team I don’t control. I use to be into just watching the league but can’t get into that anymore.

I remember a bunch of crazy Mir fans were outraged when I compared the two of them (exciting, beloved veterans with some a couple of big-name wins and a lot of losses). I think Leben fans should have been more upset, but there are fewer of them and they aren't as intense or organized. Someone teased me about that, saying that I compared Mir to some obscure TUFer, and a troll (called KONE) took it seriously and kept insisting that I said it even though this started before the purge and it would have been findable.
