Here's a category I like: Who is the best poster of those you thoroughly disagree with.

I have always enjoyed @Caveat, and @Voodoo_Child906, and though we disagree on mostly everything, we have always, at least in my opinion, managed to have pretty good discussions.

Well if we agreed on everything I don't think our discussions would have nearly been as interesting.

I got to be honest I much prefer the previous years head stomps with posters trying to hold onto the cage to avoid body slams over this official voting BS. You guys have got democracy of the brain or something, its sucking all the fun out of this.

This use to be like the warroom roast, where everyone would callout posters and heap a little praise.....over all best poster. The best/worst president threads should have shown you what a clusterfuck that is

I agree it was more like a passive aggressive call out and prop thread rather than anything official.

I don't think we've tangled that often though, have we? We have a pretty similar world view if I recall correctly. @dontsnitch and I have gone pages and pages thread after thread, always civil and always challenging.

Although I think Greg takes it quite easily for being less partisan and far more open minded (which I know seems kinda counterintuitive considering the fact that he's an ideologue but I've seen him rather receptive to input and views contrary to his own - depending on the topic).

@ehtheist - First Lady of the War Room. As a true Femme Fatale she makes pseudo intellectuals run home and cry to their momma.

Best election coverage easily goes to @sodapopinski.

Lots of quality posters in the WR - really too many to mention. I have to be honest and admit The Right wing of the WR has really stepped it up in recent years. I'm actually impressed. I remember back in the days Mens Rea and I would easily demolish the right but times have certainly changed with the amount of quality posters in their favor.

Most informative has to go to @Arkain2K. Very enlightening and organized threads.

• Best Threads: Has a strong history of making threads on issues that are topical and people actually care about. Diversity of topics and relevant links provided regularly. @Arkain2K

Best TS: I noticed @Arkain2K does well here.

• Best All Around Poster: Someone that just genuinely brings non-troll value to the war room. Makes intelligent posts, less prone to vitriolic diatribes.

@Arkain2K -- does a good job of commentating and thread creation. Too many of the other nominees dont even create their threads -- think there you need to be able to start a post if you're going to be able to deemed poster of the year.

At first I thought this was a compliment like the others.

Then I looked at the diversed range of discussions the runner-up provided us this month that Thames also considered to be "great" threads:

- China calls trump an ignorant child.
- Trump remains executive producer of The Apprentice.
- Performance art comedian is advising Mr Trump.
- Trump was a POW
- Is Trump the least intelligent Potus in history?

If possible, I'd like to politely decline this generous nomination and pass it over to Happiness.

KafirK is top notch. Articulate, charitable in his posting, willing to establish a middle ground in order to have a more fruitful coversation, can agree to disagree, and is a smart ass. You two exhibit many of the same traits. Cheers to you both!

Yeah, but obviously delusional. The xer called me unassuming. How can you do that to someone with a black Jesus avatar saying he gave the world Islam?

I will say though, they are both top notch posters offering balanced, polite styles which don't play into the excessive and bombastic argument for sport element that many of us indulge in. They both round into my top five. Heck, maybe I should be charitable and do some nominations... Some posters definitely deserve it.
