He could have made/stayed welterweight if the change was made early in his career. He was fairly bulky. But I agree that both he and Frank Shamrock looked tiny at MW with their modern contemporaries. Hell, Frank looked dwarfed by Nick Diaz, who had just recently competed at 160. Both would have been best at a 175-ish weight class.
It's like Pat Barry. Dude would probably have gotten got by the upper echelons of the LHW division but he would have smoked just about everyone else down there. Too bad if he wanted to make that weight he'd probably have to chop a leg off.

Yeah, I think the argument against the creation of a cruiserweight division has always been that HW talent pool has already been so thin and undersized fighters (Fedor at 230, Nog at 230, Cain at 240, Stipe at 240, Cormier at 240) have had so much success. Good example of why it's so inexcusable that Francis Ngannou hasn't won a title yet. That dude is a walking cheat code. A shredded 255 with the speed of a LHW.

TBF too cruiserweight at the top levels of boxing is a minimal difference between the two. It's why a guy like Usyk who destroyed people at CW can move up to HW and his speed and footwork allows him to batter the HWs.

I wonder which War Roomer this belongs to.
To whomever it is,

There's a part of me, a big part of me admittedly, that when I finally get the truck paid off is debating dropping like $500 or more on a nice bottle of Scotch or Bourbon but then I remember the stuff I like, barely ever cracks $100 and I don't see the point in dropping almost $500 for like a 20-25 year aged bottle when the same brand I already know I like the 12.
Absolutely. There are plenty of very good drinks you can get for so much less, the difference in price is not worth the difference in taste or palatability.

Yeah, for whiskey, the difference in quality between a $15 bottle and $60 bottle can be considerable, but past that the returns diminish and it's really negligible until you get up into the really pricey bottles. Like in the thousands. So the value of spending the extra money because dependent on the value of spending the money to you.

No idea if that's the same for other liquors (I've heard it's not so for tequilla), but that's been my observation.

That reminds me in an offhand way that you're owed what I can tell you about sake. Bear in mind what I know has nothing to do with what particular brand is better than any other kind--more how to choose one and what the different types are--and I will get back to you with that in a bit if you're still interested.

Extremely accurate. A 50/60 bottle of whiskey is so, so much better than something in the 20-25 range (if you know your tastes and what you like in a whiskey. Don't buy a nice smokey bourbon if your go to is Irish)

Splurge on a $150 and you'd struggle in a blind taste test with the 60 but something 30 would stick out like a sore thumb.

Tequila a lot of it comes down to personal taste. Whisky I have found my diminishing returns for my palet is right around the $70 mark, if we're including Scotch in the discussion. I love Johnnie Walker Blue but I ain't paying $250 for a bottle myself.

Tequila though, my favorite is Corralejo and you can get that shit for like $55 with a pair of shot glasses whereas Patron is like $75 sometimes.

I called the pots when he was picked up by Seattle. I fucking called it

Change my mind: if Cung Le had began training/fighting MMA earlier in his life, he could have become the UFC GOAT.
I think his main problem was just born too early. He arguably was training MMA before MMA was a thing you could train in.

LOL, how do you find this crap?
I get JUST tipsy enough on Fridays or Saturday that I look up Live PD videos on YouTube for the lols. Then it becomes COPS cause that's usually funnier and has a better theme song... then it's Patty Mayo cause watching people get tased is funny.

Everything I have read says the dude is an actor and not an actual bail bonds guy. BUT, I know one bondsman in the Louisiana area and another couple in WA from my time in the legal system and they all say:
"People don't realize it but most of our captures are super tame and easy.. but what you see him do probably happens every other week with someone being a resisting ass-douche"

Patty Mayo is the dude responsible for this gem:

@Lowmanproblems
"There's aliens? Nah, we're going to storm Area 51 in like... 10 days"

Shit's more hilarious than intentionally comedy TV shows.

EDIT:
"I just talked to the alien in the red hat and he told me to talk to you. Can you please put your tinfoil hat on so I can talk to you?"
