Wanna get into BJJ, how much does your school charge

I attended Roger Machado-Pasadena for a 3 month contract for $450. Without a contract its $175.
I used to attend 4-5 days a week, but after i got a new job, i attended 3 days a week. After my contract ended, i ask Roger if he can lower the price for 2 days a week class for a monthly fee, he said no. So after my contract ended i left. Roger is a great instructor but its just too much for me.

I am planning to take judo for $30 a month, 2 days a week. Then take either muay thai/kickboxing or karate for about $70 a month.

Did anybody here take BJJ before Royce Gracie won the first UFC in 1993. Just wondering how much they charge when BJJ before the UFC.

Take your money somewhere else. The Machados are so great in MMA, right? [/sarcasm]

I bet BJJ was way cheaper back in the day.

Currently here in Blacksburg, Virginia i pay about 30 bucks a month for this weight club membership. BJJ classes come free with the membership.

ILoveShamrock, is it $60 FOR ONLY 4X A MONTH, OR $60 FOR 4x aweek. $60 for 4x a month is a scam.
It is 60$ for 4x a month or 15 dollars an extra class. $125 FOR unlimited. Up to 11 classes a week if you want. Ths is Rorion's school.

Wtf? Do you think these guys should give their blood sweat and tears away?? 100 a month unlimited for good training is VERY reasonable

Place I train at is 125 a month BJJ, Muay Thai, Joe Lewis Fighting Systems, Boxing, JKD. All fully certified. 6 days a week 3 hours a day evening classes 2-3 hrs a day morning classes.

Damn good deal hardly "getting ripped off" pay 25 dollars a month for classes if you want, but you get what you pay for

if u live in the us you should be prepared to get ripped off, especcially if u wanna train with a big name BB, but i don't blame the teachers that's how the us market looks like,

i think most places in stockholm charges about 200dollars per season (4months)
