Television WANDAVISION Discussion (Dragonlord's Review)

If you have seen the whole season of WANDAVISION, how would you rate it?

stupid question but did white Vision become real Vision when he had that conversation?
faux vision touched his G spot and suddenly his memories came flooding back - presumably also memories of what faux vision had recently gone through in Westview

Maybe real vision went to go sow his wild oats before settling down with Wanda.

"Don't be alarmed Ms. Daddario, I am simply your favorite vibrator, come to life. "

I assume will find out what happened to Vision later on. I thought him leaving was weird but at one point the Sword guy asks the women if they still have him under control. Him leaving suddenly like that might have been necessary for his own survival or for everyone else's safety.

Watched the first 2 episodes.

Wow, booooring.

Does it get better?

The part about Disney using a show to sell another show is my big problem with this and the Mandalorian.
In Mandalorian they used the second season to set up multiple spin offs like the Ahsoka Tano spin-off, or the Rangers of the New Republic spinoff (rip Gina Carano).

The new Star Trek shows are doing it too, with season 2 of Discovery being used to introduce Captain Pike and his Enterprise crew who are getting their own Strange New Worlds spinoff.

It’s getting really quite disgusting imo.

I'm with you, but that's business 101 right there. Disney+ cannot function with "only" '50s-'80s old animated movies and MCU movies in the mix. They need to produce content and TV shows are a hot commodity right now. If they see something trending (like Jimmy Woo and whatever the name of that Thor 1/2 chick is), they're gonna try to capitalize on it.

It does. Don't give up. I'm glad I didn't.

Man what a disappointment. This is why I waited for the whole thing to come out before watching it. I like that it connected everything and she finally became scarlett witch but the journey was boring and didnt have any emotional impact. I will say it did have pretty damn good production value which is promising. When the shows were annouced this sounded like the least interesting so hopefully the other marvel shows are better.

She’s the one Wanda battles, but she more or less let Wanda out of the basement. Why? To drain her power? There’s no thing in the book that lets you do that in the basement? Just stay in the basement!
I think she needs to have power used on her in order to drain it, and Wanda was powerless in the rune room

Well, that ended on an incredibly terrible note. What a waste.

Brilliant performances from Olsen, Bettany and Hahn let down by piss-poor writing in the finale. "Ralph Bouhner" was just the writers giving the middle finger to the fans,

"Lolz, it wasn't an X Men Multiverse Easter egg, it was just a dick joke, losers!"

Also, Monica telling Wanda,

"They will never know what you gave up for them"

Made me fucking cringe. Giving up your non-existent family and Stepford Wives life you've created does not absolve you from mind-raping an entire town for so long the people actually beg you to either let them go or let them die. Psychiatrists are going to put their kids through collage just from all the citizens of Westview paying for long term therapy. Agatha was right,

"Heroes don't torture people, Wanda".

I really hope Marvel has the balls to make Wanda the Big Bad of Multiverse of Madness. By all means redeem her at the end, but until then show her as the mentally ill, selfish, incredibly dangerous woman she is.

Lol they were arresting the army guy and I'm like umm she kidnapped and tortured thousands of people...

But she had to give up her imaginary friends, so it all balances out;)

Seriously, though: Hayward was a prick and a coward, but he was right to regard Wanda as a potentially catastrophic threat to America, if not the entire world.

But Jimmy Woo didn't call in the FBI for her, and the FBI only knew as much as Jimmy told them to that point.

I’m still fuzzy on what Hayward did which caused him to be arrested for? He already had clearance to try and reboot vision. The whole “you’ll never get away with this” clearly it was his mission the whole time. Firing a gun at imaginary kids? Just fell to pieces at the end.

The last 2 episodes actually made me dislike the show. The finale made me REALLY dislike it.

Someone else said it, but it seemed like someone just hijacked the finale and tried to shoehorn it into fitting the big cinematic MCU battle arch.

They should have just had it of been a descent into madness caused by grief. No more, no less.
