WADA funded study confirms: ~ 40-60% of athletes are on PEDs but only 1-2% are caught

UFC has very stringent testing since it is 1 on 1 combat of hurt. Other fields NFL or NBA have very little effort and are all in agreement and coaches supervision needling their asses.

Unless you are Usain Bolt, I doubt track and field athletes can afford that much more than fighters. Also the failing rate is similar(1-2%) so it is fair to assume a similar doping prevalence in the UFC

How often are track and field athletes tested on a yearly basis?

as our modern culture would say

"err body in the gym gettin bigly"

If Fedor did roids in Pride who cares? I mean if he did it all clean against juice heads that's even more impressive.

It also shows Fedor as a stand up guy never popping and fighting clean in the States while most of his opponents were still trying to roid or were loaded up on the TRT.

And this just further illustrates how bad of a job the drug testers are doing. If 90-95% of athletes are using, WADA is failing terribly.

But I seem to recall you refusing to acknowledge this, the same way you refuse to acknowledge anything else you disagree with.
it's not that they're failing. I mean they are failing, but it's not like they're doing a bad job. it's just that it's impossible to have a clean sport. there will always be undetectable drugs. not only that, it's not of the interest of the investors and the athletes to have a clean sport

WADA guys opinions are irrelevant, they are corrupt and incompetent
i only trust USADA, and they would say the same about WADA

I lift and flex....That flex pose makes your traps look huge, like super huge...So you can't really judge with that pose...We need to see his traps relaxed in normal standing up poses.

Don't believe me? Go to a mirror right now and flex like that, your traps will look 3 times bigger atleast

His traps aren't bad tho....Im more impressed by his delts., which I know is another sign to tell if roids have been used....but Fedor's delts don't look very bubbly like typical roiders.

SO yeah I think he is natty in that pic.
Jesus fuck whats wrong with his fucking face goddamn that's freaking me the fuck out.

Oh I know there will never be a clean sport. Hell, when gene modification develops, look the fuck out. But by any real measure, there are doing an absolutely shitty job. And it is made worse by final decisions on many issues being made by non-scientists. Such as the threshold limit for THC. Multiple factors present during a weight cut cause a tremendous release of THC from the adipocytes that has never been measured under fight conditions. Alterations in ACTH, hydration levels and extreme weight cutting skew the test results in the extreme. And no study has ever been done under these conditions. The changes in threshold levels to fail a test were made by non-scientists following no research at all. Sorry, but this level of performance is shit. And it is far from an isolated issue.

To compound the problem, when dumb-asses fail, they talk to more lawyers, instead of scientists. Someone with basic research skills and a decent working knowledge of biochem and pharm-tox would clean house at a hearing, but no one ever stops to think of this. I actually know a biochemist who is irritated enough that she is thinking of volunteering her services to the next fighter that fails their shitty-ass testing protocol.

And then you have other idiots running around here like they know something stating that if a fighter does not smoke within 48 hours of a test, there is no reason to fail, which is stupid as hell, as there is no science to back this up.

So it was a Survey? Im sure lots of athletes simply denied roiding, because that's how big of a taboo subject it is, even if it's impossible to find out if they did it, they probably lied just to be sure......

So it's probably more like 80-90% of athletes are roiding.

40-60% are on PEDs, the rest are on PEDs but said they are natural.

To see diferente side of a coin PRIDE and AFTER.
CHUTE BOXE guys weren't very sophisticated about doping, so when they got to the States they truly have to dose it down, i don't think they stopped completely, even tough at the begining of the stint in the us, i think they weren't using and gradualy got adapted to the new testing to use without getting caught... But they never got close to what they use at pride.... Wanderlei wife didn't even let him go on trt (She is a doctor or something)... So UFC fighter were doping but nothing comparable to what passed on pride.
Wanderlei already stated he fought on gear big time on pride, i dont think Shogun ever open up about it, Anderson Silva had those weird needle stock...

There is only like 2 or 3 stories and they were an obvious work.....Stop making it sound like most of PRIDE fights were bullshit.

PRIDE FC is way more honest than the UFC.

Did you forget, that the UFC knew Vitor was on steroids and allowed him to fight Jon Jones....They knew all this info before the fight, but they cared about the bottom line and let the fight go anyways.

The UFC is shady as fuck.

Notice how true this is and how many people neglected to like it. People like to forget that Vitor tested positive for the fight with Jon Jones. Bias.

I'd imagine most fighters use no ester testosterone

If you take test suspension there's no way you can fail a test just take it right after ur tested and when u think ur gonna be tested again go off it, its out of ur system in hours

Not surprising, if they were going to risk taking PEDs they would have a whole team who would help them get away with it.

WADA guys opinions are irrelevant, they are corrupt and incompetent

There is a lot of friction between WADA and USADA. Some of it is justified, USADA have a lot of issues for instance the fact that the IOC board is made up of people from the various sports, IOC etc.. Theres also the SportAccord/IOC/WADA issue...

but also, lets not make any bones about it, Travis (Tygart - head of USADA) has ambitions beyond USADA. Either as head of WADA, or as head of a governing body of national anti doping agencies.
