Wachowski Siblings Become Wachowski Sisters

Yeah that is super tinfoil hat lol. also lol at gay propaganda. They spent a looooong time being marginalized and now that they're finally getting social acceptance they're making some noise about it. Is that really surprising after all the years of hazing and bullshit they've been through?

You're only capable of seeing life from the perspective of people who think just like you do. That's cool and all but people have a lot of variation to them, everyone isn't going to be exactly like you. I can tell you're the type of person that never tries to put yourself in someone else's shoes or tries to imagine life from their perspective.

Gays and trans aren't the way they are because they're weak or something. They're just different than you and that difference is not something they have any level of control over.

It's honestly just an egotistical pov. Other people trying to find a way to be themselves and deal with the hand life dealt them aren't out to get you, because, shocker, everything in the world doesn't revolve around you.

Mike, dude I promise you I didn't mean any offense to you or anyone else. These are just my opinions bro. Take them with a grain of salt. I'm just spouting off on an mma forum, ya know?

I know man, and I like you, you seem like a cool guy. I'm just trying to get you to look at it from a different perspective. Again seriously no offense intended.

The more you look at genetics, psychology, etc. it's dice rolls all the way down. Everything that makes us what we are is heavily inlfuenced by many factors outside our control. I'm just saying take that into account before judging someone too harshly.

I notice you seem to have issues with a lot of different posters lately. You seem to have an attitude problem.

Oh go away Seano. I have issues with the same goddamn people I've ALWAYS had issues with. You and I don't interact much, but we disagree about pretty much everything. Not new. I worked it out with Barman, no beef there. Hell I even tried to work it out with Cana. I'm far from being an unreasonable person, and have stated multiple times I have no personal issue with Kick. You can disagree with people without hating them, and I have dozens of friends on here so yeah.

Just think about this: You know they call the WWII era people the "greatest generation?" Well they called them that for a reason. Back then men were fucking men, and they did what they had to do, like men. Even the women back then had to man up, get jobs at fucking steel factories, and do their part. America wouldn't have gotten through that shit if we had a bunch of pansy ass clowns like they're trying to turn us into now. Imagine what the greatest generation would think of modern young people today if they had a look at 'em. It's embarrassing to think about.

Yeah, real men spend all their time bitching on the internet.

Seriously, you joined a year ago and you've racked up near 7 thousand posts? You've NOT had a productive year.

I don't know about the society you're supposedly seeing, but the Wachowski, er, people, have made a shit ton of money and success. They clearly have identity issues which, rather than bottling it up, choose to tackle outwardly, cos they have the time and money too.

Your mind-set, I think, is stuck in the mediated bubble; I very much doubt there is a masculinity crisis in the real world - still plenty of real guys out there.

Get off the fucking internet and just get on with your life fella.

Because it takes guts and courage to face public ridicule.

Look at this and past threads. They're full of people ridiculing and making fun of public figures who have come out as trans. They did this knowing that they'd be objects of derision and scorn to people who have no clue what forms bravery or courage can take.

In my time, I've been a soldier and humanitarian and worked in many parts of the world, seen and done some insane shit, dodged gunfire and mortar rounds, jumped out of plane and helicopters, landed planes on roads, walked into mined fields, faced warlords and child soldiers and pirates and smugglers and armed robbers in some tense situations.

Unlike some of you small minded motherfuckers, I can recognize different forms of courage and bravery. These folks have guts to stand up in public and say they can take whatever the public has to dish out. I wouldn't have the balls to do that.

Whenever I see people making fun of Caitlin Jenner or whoever the tranny of the day that is being jeered at, I think to myself that these are the words of a coward, someone who has never tested the their moral testicular fortitude in standing up against the masses. That there is a person who isn't just someone who won't stand up against a bully but is themselves the bully and at their core is a moral coward.

But whatever, I'm sure you guys will continue to come up with reasons why it's okay to pick on people because they're different.

Meh, I still dont see it as a big deal. Maybe a few years ago but it's 2016 man. I mean, ya duh dude there's alot of shit talk from internet or jokes whatever but that goes for ANYTHING AND ANYBODY. It's the internet dude.

I have a friend who came out too a couple years ago and they post pictures of themselves in bikinis and dresses on facebook. Well guess what? nobody who matters gives a DAMN.

Ya sure these brothers(now sisters) were and are a big thing with having directed some good movies and some great movies but again, I doubt other than a bunch of trolls and harmless joksters on internet anybody who really matters doesn't really care THAT much to the point where they hate them/don't love them anymore.

There are different forms of courage and bravery but this? Come on dude. I mean to a point it may be but didn't Caitlin Jennar murder somebody and still get a bunch of rewards of being woman/person of the year? Fuck that.

Yeah. I don't have dubs though. So I got that goin for me :D

I don't think they really get made fun of much on sherdog. I think people just point out that it's a mental illness and that these people need help.

Yeah they definitely get made fun of a lot on here. As someone that's been in most of these threads, a lot of people are huge douches about this stuff

Maybe I've missed it, most of what I've read or pay attention to is debate on it being a disorder or not a disorder. Unless it's other threads.

There's a lot of that, which is certainly something that's fair to debate. A lot of insults and stupid jokes too based on their media portrayal and level of attention lately.

Which is stupid because they have no control over that.

I will say one thing about the point that a lot of people have about it being genetics or hormonal imbalance, etc so that's just the way trans/gay are. Sometimes yes, but sometimes no. Sometimes I think it has to do with upbringing, your environment, and yes the media/(pop) culture.

For example here in the Philippines, there are more obvious gays/trans around here than I've ever seen in one area I've ever been. One major reason for that is the culture here. In pop culture there are several tv shows about ladyboys, ladyboy pageants, and the like. There is a huge exposure to that subculture here. That has got to have a big influence on the mindset of impressionable young minds. I personally know children as young as 7 or 8 years old who have been labeled as "bayot" (gay) and are being pretty much groomed to be gay. I know a 12 year old boy who identifies himself as a girl (or ladyboy) and is currently taking hormones to grow tits.

So I see where people with opinions like Kick are coming from.

There are also those who were abused and so that is how they dealt with the abuse. I guess all I'm saying is that it's not always genetics and chemical imbalances is all.

Sorry if what I wrote isn't all that coherent. It's late here and my sleep schedule is fucked up ATM.

Nice post.

But one correction. I never actually said that the Wachowski's are doing what they're doing "only for themselves," what I said--earlier on in the thread--is that I'm not convinced at this point that it's a cause that actually should be promoted. They're doing very strange things to their bodies and trying to completely subvert nature's decisions, and saying that it's okay for people to do this, and I'm just not sure that's true. But I will say this: Regardless of whether this is a good thing or not, which ultimately is a matter of opinion when we really get down to it, I'll grant that intention plays a role: If they genuinely believe that what they are doing is right and good, and that by making this choice and being so public about it they are intending to help others, then perhaps in some sense it is heroic. Heroic-by-intention, I'd say.

But yeah, I'm still not sure we should be championing this shit. Consider this scenario: A girl who is a cutter starts posting videos on YouTube, slashing her fucking arms up and saying how she's trying to make people realize that it's a normal and acceptable behavior, and that cutters should be accepted just for who they are. Would you call her courageous and heroic? No, you'd say, "We need to get this bitch to a doctor and so we can fix this shit."

I don't know what the numbers are for suicide attempts before and after operations or any of that. And I don't know what the sensation of feeling like you are the wrong gender for your body is like, and whether it feels like something that can truly only be corrected for by having your penis cut off. The only way for me to know would be to have that condition, and I'm glad as hell that isn't my bucket of water to carry...

Any time I see people unsympathetic towards trans people, I just think...this trans person had an existence such that the superior option was to go through the pain of having their dick and balls cut off. That has to suck.

On a related note, I just watched a movie with the wife about penises being bitten off. Teeth is one messed up movie.

Sense8 was really cool. Now I finaly understand why they were pushing the LGBT stuff so hard in it.

I have to say, male or female, both of them are just hideously looking people.

Yeah, I agree with that. And I do think that people often lose all perspective when they're faced with an issue that they have no base of experience to work from in trying to understand it. It's like a guy who hates gay people because it just seems gross to him. Well, clearly he has never woken up and just had an intense craving for a dick in his ass.
