I just bought aluminum case 9mm like a filthy peasant. They were sold out of the rest and I just went shooting the other day and wanted to replace the 200 rounds fired

aw well. Good test for if my gun can handle whatever I throw at it if Ammo truly becomes scarce. It was dirt cheap too. 9 bucks for a box of 50 from federal.

Federal Champion Aluminum is what I believe the name of it is. Familiar with aluminum cased pistol rounds? I’ve never shot it before. Aluminum soft so not the problems with steel and I don’t reload especially not handgun (keeping my 7mm rem mag brass. Maybe this year for Christmas I’ll treat myself)

Matching the market price of $40ish and asking 250% more are different things. They were asking $99 before other places were even out. Basically holding onto their stock to price gouge. Brownells was letting people backorder 10 mags for like $110. Granted it was a 6 month backorder.

I can buy plenty of quality .223 still. They are asking match grade pricing for steel case.

Ammunitiontogo wants $445 for 1k of wolf gold.
I paid under $300 per 1k not long ago.
