i really don't shoop, total noob here with photo editing stuff. i used some random photo editing app that i downloaded like a couple of weeks ago that i hardly ever use.

i really struggled with ideas on this one and literally turned in my modified final piece last minute. i couldn't think of anything to make with ms paint. plus being that i'm the only one to use paint, it took away the anonymity factor

thank god for the thread by @the big marmot that i came across and saw the nunes pic. and i just jumped on it and said fug it.

you guys deserve it. again, thanks to all the sponsors and @bigwaverider for putting all this together. all your effort is appreciated.

it was an honor competing with you heathens and i had a blast. as an obscure member for years i really appreciated being a part of something that i feel was really special

if enough people wanted to get out of their comfort zone, you guys should come into my world and we can do an ms paint contest.

I've already done some 80s shoops I ain't released yet, mainly Conor and Nate themed, and UFC 202 is next month which is good.

lol well I have some other ideas how to move forward with this now so we shall see.
 
We are getting a lot of new contest ideas. Incredulous Cormier, Bisping KO, and other classics. An MMA related desktop background contest, The MS Paint contest idea. It was also suggested to have a "real" Photoshop contest using a non MMA picture which you will be able to Shoop as you see fit, as long as it isn't MMA related. All these will be discussed in the Sherdog Shoop News PM's. If you want to be heard, sign up by PM'ing me. Click this to PM me.

It might be nice to PM me ahead of time so I can add your idea to the OP of that PM, which will probably go out in a few days. If you have been receiving a PM called "NGS Final Round coming soon", then you are already signed up.

I gotta get on my punctuality game, I missed the voting deadline. Again. *sigh* BVR, props for organizing a great event. Loved all the shoops. Lot of quality in here. IMO Jehannum deserved more love for that masterpiece. Hats off to all you shoopers.

thanks buddy, but the competition is about more than just technical excellence :)

the entry I voted for won and the second place entry I liked a lot too so I am happy with it all, and I really enjoyed working on my own, as it posed so many unique problems that I had to overcome.

TY man. Jehannum's shoop was an epic shoop. So much time and dedication to do that. He is at the top of the heap.

BTW, sign up for the Sherdog Shoop news PM's. It's still very young and as of now it's used for contest notifications, and soon to be discussions. Will be PM'ing one out soon to discuss future contests, what types of contests, when we should hold them etc. If you were on the list, you woulda gotten a PM updating you about this thread. but seriously, was a lot of fun to participate and I hope even more artists get involved in the next one, especially as it may be open to an unlimited amount of participants ;) you can sneak in as a dark horse and win real prizes. I'll donate towards the next one too when it is announced.

I think more will participate in the next one. Word is getting out about NGS. Others may have seen it and want to try it out. It will only grow. I am leaning towards the unlimited thing too. Do the same thing we did for NGS V1. Have a qualifying round with the top 15 advancing.
