Volk would have to Fight perfect like that first round for the whole fight and make no major mistakes. I feel like Illa puts an immense amount of pressure on anyone he fights. he just stalks you until he finds his opening. Both guys are awesome. Volk is one hell of a fighter i'd not count him out of winning, but the odds are stacked against him in that match up... iila is real fast and hits real hard.

That's pretty much the scenario, don't get caught with a big punch.

Stay at kicking range, or stay in clinch and wrestling range. Do his best to make this a battle of conditioning, not of power. Volk can push a hard pace all day, so he better try to see if Topuria can too.

I agree. He should be using whatever striking he is using ti set up footwork for takedowns. His chin has been rattled good 2 fights in a row. He needs to not end up trading blows. He can't muscle through the big shots like he did Mendes all those years ago. And topuria being the younger faster guy is way liklier to land those blows first. Volk got folded last time he tried to strike with him, time for a different approach. Lots of clinch, lots of takedown. Kicking range only while.at striking distance.
