he couldn’t escape because he was too busy trying to control the arm of Islam to prevent a choke.
How is that not effective grappling?
Volk had no offence. Baby punches are not offense but a desperate attempt to try to deceive people that he is doing ‘something’.
if Islam was controlled on the ground by Volk in the exact same manner. You would be yelling how Volk destroyed Islam. There is zero objectivity in people like you.
Trying to sell propaganda that a back take is not effective grappling.
What is effective grappling? Trying to ‘advance’ to a worse position?
He should have transitioned to side control?
the reality is that Volk was stalling. You can’t blame Islam. Volk is the one that has to get out of a back take position. If he can’t do that. This simply means that Islam has effective grappling to prevent him from escaping.
Even volk agrees with me. He knew he was losing. He knew in what kind of bad spot he was. He couldn’t do anything about it. He tried to fool people out of frustration acting full confident while yelling out of desperation.
He knew he lost the fight when losing the fourth round. His coaches already told him that he lost two rounds in between the rounds before the fourth round.
His face was the face of a man that was realising that he lost the fight.
I'm starting to think you don't know how to escape that position. As I said many times before, he couldn't because of their location against the cage. It had nothing to do with the seatbelts grip on Islam's arm. It had to do with his hips and shoulder position, and the lack of mobility of them DUE to islam stalling against the cage.
Also, I said I scored the fight for islam, so I'm not sure why you're acting like i said otherwise. All I said islam stalled, and he did. Aljamain sterling of all people pointed it out and he is king of that position.
