the Industry is so mindbroken by promoters that they think of fight cards as PPVs if they are high quality. Like there are fight nights and ppvs. They are all just one thing, Fight cards. kinda like people who say band-aid, but mean bandage.

There of course is no such thing as a ppv. but they are trying to justify quality by saying it's "free".

but even I think it's shit fight. and if their fight were close or even remotely competitive I'd not mind it so much. but it was just such a complete loss and it was so recent I just cant seem to be excited about it. I cant see how much better lopes could get in 9 months.

I'd rather see them give it to yair than lopes, that rematch has more potential to be different. (he doesn't deserve it more though.)

I mean, Volk clearly won no question. But Lopes took a round on all 3 scorecards, 2 rounds on 1 scorecard. By no means does that warrant a rematch at this time but people acting like Volk had some flawless victory should probably rewatch and maybe listen to what Volk had to say about it post fight.

The tweet says Paramount+ not CBS. Also 324 will be the first Paramount PLE(not PPV), hence the "back-to-back" statement in the tweet.

They interviewed Mark Shapiro of TKO a month ago and he said he was under the impression that all of the numbered events will also be simulcasted on CBS.

I couldn't imagine why they wouldn't, 12 to 13 numbered events on national CBS would probably do close to half a billion dollars in advertising revenue.
