Virtue Signaling in Gaming Megathread, v.1

Outfits were altered which previously depicted far more skin and cleavage. Stop lying. You're not very smart, you can't formulate an argument, or answer even a basic question.

why does Stellar Blade go through censorship, but games that depict far more in terms of sexualized content, get a pass?
I'm playing the game, they have that stuff in it.

Why have you completely back tracked now? You know damn well, the costumes I'm talking about, that were changed from their previous design.

why does Stellar Blade go through censorship, but games that depict far more in terms of sexualized content, get a pass?

I accept your concession. You're not very bright. And you lack direction in your argument. Playing dumb. Being dishonest.

your question has been answered; you just don’t like the answer. it doesn’t fit the narrative of your fiction.

what is your answer?

it wasn’t censored. who’s the one playing dumb here, exactly?

then what did the day one patch do?

you're playing dumb in the most pathetic way possible. disingenuous, dishonest, a total liar, and you have 0 points to make.

You can go back a few pages and see a post I made. There's a screenshot of a costume available in the game that's much more revealing that the one you think is censored. Nobody is trying to get rid of tits and ass. You're delusional since they're still in the game and there's plenty of costumes that reveal her skin. Making a minor adjustment to one costume is not censorship. Stop watering down that word and save your energy for something else.

Day one NG Plus
No Bugs
3 Performance Options
Updates coming like Boss Rush Mode

This dude be complaining about a piece of fabric.

What did the day one patch do then?

Costumes were censored, period. I'm specifically talking about the ones that were altered.

My question still stands, why does Stellar Blade go through censorship, but games that depict far more in terms of sexualized content, get a pass?

slight aesthetic modifications to less than a handful of costumes. if there was any censorship funny business going on, it would’ve been a complete aesthetic overhaul to every revealing costume in the game.

now back to the cave of loneliness under momma’s basement mountain w/ you

the costumes were altered, suppressed from their original design, with a day one patch. that is by definition, censorship.

i'm staying right here, and you can keep doing your mental gymnastics, that's up to you.

why does Stellar Blade go through censorship, but games that depict far more in terms of sexualized content, get a pass?

So again, why does Stellar Blade get censored, and the other games which depict far more sexualized content, not?

Pacing and duration of the content.

In Kill Bill volume 1 the big fight had to be made black and white to not receive a NC-17 rating. This was caused by the duration of the colorized gore in conjunction with the depicted violence.

stellar blade is censored because of pacing and the duration of content? BG3/Cyberpunks content does not disappear. The pacing and duration is the exact same as well.

why does Stellar Blade go through censorship, but games that depict far more in terms of sexualized content, get a pass?

no, it isn’t.
Yes it is, suppression of content in a game is censorship. Costumes were changed/altered from their previous design with a day one patch. You're not very good at this.

alright, so by definition, every day one patch w/ costume alterations is censorship.

got it.

the costumes in stellar blade were censored. they were more revealing before, and less after the patch. this is a fact. you're terrible at conveying your argument, because you have none, and you still can't even answer the most basic of questions. the game was censored, but now it's not to you, surprisingly/unsurprisingly.

Yes. BG3 and Cyberpunk do not share the same single narrative depiction pacing as Stellar Blade.

this is false.

get your story straight, bud.

You're lacking a coherent argument now. First it's pacing and duration. You can literally play BG3 fully nude, at no point in the game does that go away ever. So if it's a question of revealing outfits, then why does BG3 get a complete pass, and why aren't the same set of standards/rules applied to Stellar Blade? That doesn't make sense.

Pacing, is a vague term. Pacing of what? The story? At no point in any of the games does pacing or duration have anything to do with sexualized content. It's always there, in all games.
