Virtue Signaling in Gaming Megathread, v.2

You don't know the difference between a property later interpreted as a metaphor, and a property created as a metaphor.

By the way, don't bring up the claim X-Men was created to be against homophobia. You'll lose harder on it than you're losing on this 'X-Men was woke in the 1960s' narrative.
X-Men was about a group of people who were discriminated against because of the way they were born. Writing a comic in support of discriminated people and drawing inspiration from real people affected by it is 100% “woke.”

It’s why Stan Lee, the creator, said that it was a good metaphor for the civil rights movement.

Who the fuck is talking about it being created about homophobia? You make up scenarios in your head and argue them constantly lmao.

Its genesis has lent itself to sticking up for and representing all kinds of marginalized groups because that’s what the creator had in mind when he wrote the fucking things.

Who cares about what you think?

There's a big difference between 99.7%+ of words being spelled correctly and tharking lek thus 4 inere paragafs.

As opposed to someone who has no idea how to use their SHIFT key and speaking as if their opinions should be respected.

You're so stupid you don't fuckin' get it. lol.

your requirements for what is acceptable or not acceptable when it comes to grammar is personal and means exactly jack and shit to others. that's why it's absolutely ironic and downright hilarious because every time you fuck up grammatically it's a green light for anyone else to point it out and laugh at you in return since that is the game you play.

*Yawn*
Everything the left can say is woke is somehow woke. Could the left see the lessons in the X-Men comic (created, written, and illustrated by Jews) and stop discriminating against Jews? Maybe at least stop publicly supporting terrorist groups seeking to genocide them?

And according to X-Men racial discrimination is wrong, correct? So would they be in support of DEI?

You want to absorb X-Men into your movement, but you don't want the responsibility.

Good to hear you're not one of those 'X-Men are fighting against homophobia' cultists.

Probably the best response you could have to this nonsense. Really like this guy’s attitude, plus he makes great games.

“What the fuck is this?” Should be the default reaction to any of this anti-woke brain rot.

If I could be bothered to go through this retards posting history, I'm sure I would find at least a single post of him raging on Nioh 1, right?

If not, what could possibly be the reason for that I wonder....

You say this... then write the rest of your post without capitalization to insure no one will read it.
Very intelligent move.
Insure is to protect from damages. Ensure is to make certain.

I skimmed most of the thread, but I distinctly remember this because I've never seen Ad Hominem written that way : Ab Homonym. A homonym is when a word is pronounced or spelled the same way as the other word, but has a different meaning. Bat, the animal, or baseball bat. To make it more confusing, Hominem would not be considered a homonym since it's not pronounced the same way.

But yeah, attacking people for their spelling or grammar is probably not the hill to die on since you pretty much repeatedly commit perhaps more subtle, but similar fouls.

We are both guilty of horrible crimes."

I'm just saying the gap is probably not as large as you think it is, you are just much more lenient about your own mistakes.

You can say whatever you want.

Wow... in this entire 73-page thread you can recall exactly two misspellings I've made.

So that means I have no justification in shaming anyone that has no capability in even using the SHIFT key to capitalize the first letter of the first word of a sentence.... for every sentence in they post they've ever made.

No, I think there's a very wide gap between the two.

Open Invitation - Anyone notice a misspelling in any of my post, kindly point it out to me. I'll respect it an take it under advisement to remember to spell it correctly in the future. I won't act offended and expect posters that agree with my arguments to defend me.

I'm not going through the whole thread, but there was the feint/feign from the initial conversation and analise/analyse on these recent pages, as others have mentioned, so that's at least 4. Sounds like a pattern of mix ups to me. If it comes off as petulant to you, I would agree. But that's the can of worms you open up once you go down the grammar and spelling route.

So you admit, despite the four misspellings, my posts are at least readable. Those misspellings are at least in the ballpark of being correct.

Thank you.
