Reality check, filthybliss, most men don't listen to other men because they're attractive but because they have interesting and enlightening perspectives on subjects.
I started checking out his videos because they were posted here, and found he was neither right-wing or left-wing on his commentary on multiple subjects. I didn't always agree but always could tell its his honest opinion, and in this age of grifters lying to expand their subscribers numbers I value honest opinions.
So, I hear someone here that used to post his videos here has concluded he's a 'grifter.' I'm open to that possibility, so I'm not 'batting' for him so I'd like to hear the case he's been dishonest... and no one has been given a specific examples of him being dishonest so the grifter accusation sounds like a weak 'he says something I disagree with, so he's a grifter.'

As for Dr.Disrespect, it was very suspicious that practically everyone instantly turned their backs on him with incomplete information from questionable sources.

This woke stuff is hilarious. It's clearly being used for monetization. It's the same thing with these guys who are hardcore Xbox/PS on youtube. Most of them keep their gaming profiles hidden because they don't want people knowing they actually don't play games.
It's similar to the hogwarts legacy thing. People railing against it and saying JK rowling is a transphobe and then they get caught having bought\played the game on Steam\PS\Xbox etc.

Yea I do think it's worse I was just saying that all these youtubers are the same. They will say or do anything just for more money. Well for the most part anyways I'm sure there are some truly honest people out there on youtube.
I'm not sure about real world consequences and I hope it doesn't come to that but who knows. Colin Moriarty recently interviewed the guy who made that Tales from Zau or something like that and they discussed the woke stuff and him hiring sweet baby inc. It was a fascinating interview. His game was being called woke trash because he hired that company and he's a black guy telling an african story about his fathers death. The good thing is from his perspective the game did well so looks like all the woke shit didn't interfere with that.
I added the interview below. This guy seems like a genuinely good person and has a real love for video games. Yet got attacked and harassed because people called his game woke. Colin even says that when he tried to praise the game he was told that he's in a "DEI marriage" lol.

I've seen some of the things she's said and typed up. She's rage-bait personified, a smug, sanctimonious twat who makes the left look so utterly unpleasant.
His issue is that he's been focusing way too much on internet news and, telling from his more recent clips, it's made him bitter with a hint of arrogance. It must be like browsing the War Room all day and having to make content reacting to it. It becomes an echo chamber of negativity.
I think he'll be alright, but yeah, his followers probably like and expect that of him.

Successful game streamers have a typical arc. Starting off as this brash kid who slowly matures as the years pass. With Asmongold the opposite happened. For he's seen life changing success in two polar opposite streaming genres. Recently reverting back to his childhood traits of scraping by by any means with react content. While at the same time fostering a new community of hyper inflated like minded egos who must have a shared opinion on everything. Who then feeds him such content for reaction creating a persistent feedback loop.
Right now the community he has generated is lashing out at anyone who goes against this grain, including all OTK members. While Asmongold on his subreddit is virtue signaling this new community contradicting his apology video.

I will have to take you at your word because I don't know enough about him to even begin to understand his arc. Or really any streamers. I just don't have enough experience with streamers and how they operate. I just started watching his stuff when all the hoopla began, to see who this "evil" fella is, and I cannot understand anyone really clinging to his every word. Seems like a random guy who makes some decent points here and there and some bad. Though how people live makes me view them in a different light, with all the pros and cons that judging someone on that basis brings. Seems like another in a long line of internet personas that have said dumb shit. Spend enough time on camera and you are bound to put your foot in your mouth.

He had the unfortunate timing of SBI being outed as the cancerous parasites they are, and was deemed guilty by association. It didn't help that the game isn't that good.
I saw an interview with him around launch, seemed like a good dude who just had a story he wanted to tell, a genuine passion project. I pirated the game to try before buying, as I was in a metroidvania mood. I was interested in the narrative, but the gameplay/level design was mediocre at best. I think I played for about 2 or 3 hours before giving up on it. Did you play it? I think i recall you saying you did?
Anyway, it couldn't have sold well because I just saw this post.
