Even after the Duchy of Normandy was created, the Normands kept on fighting the Frankish crown. Some battles were won and lost on both sides.

The reality though is civilized technology( GERMS STEEL AND GUNS ) wins. I do not have any disdain for Norway. My wife is Norwegian and i love this country and i respect the local culture. If there would be war between Russia and Norway i would be on Norwegian side. Fighting genetics got little to no correlation to how good the country is. Its like saying to Africans "Oh you think Africans are good at running, well why dont you move back to Africa then!"
