Opinion Very weird article about Obama

Not at all. The criticism of obama here is more than fair. He was a terrible president who drowned the nation in debt and divided the country racially on many different fronts.

Damn right the United States is The Country.

@Kafir-kun (of the sand variety, I guess) .

thats not cool bruh

Only Fox News zombies think Obama ever pandered to poor American blacks. Educated, legitimate black leftists like Cornel West have always called out Obama for the class and race traitor that he was as president.

You actually believe Obama is a race traitor? And you even refereed to him as a white man hiding under the guise of being black?

It might be time to get another prescription for your medication.

But do you agree with Obama's advice? Do not buy giant gold chains and air jordans if you're poor. Do not try to hustle. Even if you don't make the Ivy League cut selling drugs is a terrible idea to get out of the ghetto.

Poor people act like they are rich and rich people act like they are poor. This is basic science.

I knew about the fed, not the others very much. Do you know any of the names of these banksters? I would like to research them
This ought to help:

Revealed – the capitalist network that runs the world

"From Orbis 2007, a database listing 37 million companies and investors worldwide, they pulled out all 43,060 TNCs and the share ownerships linking them. Then they constructed a model of which companies controlled others through shareholding networks, coupled with each company’s operating revenues, to map the structure of economic power.

The work, to be published in PLoS One, revealed a core of 1318 companies with interlocking ownerships (see image). Each of the 1318 had ties to two or more other companies, and on average they were connected to 20. What’s more, although they represented 20 per cent of global operating revenues, the 1318 appeared to collectively own through their shares the majority of the world’s large blue chip and manufacturing firms – the “real” economy – representing a further 60 per cent of global revenues.

When the team further untangled the web of ownership, it found much of it tracked back to a “super-entity” of 147 even more tightly knit companies – all of their ownership was held by other members of the super-entity – that controlled 40 per cent of the total wealth in the network. “In effect, less than 1 per cent of the companies were able to control 40 per cent of the entire network,” says Glattfelder. Most were financial institutions. The top 20 included Barclays Bank, JPMorgan Chase & Co, and The Goldman Sachs Group.

John Driffill of the University of London, a macroeconomics expert, says the value of the analysis is not just to see if a small number of people controls the global economy, but rather its insights into economic stability.

Concentration of power is not good or bad in itself, says the Zurich team, but the core’s tight interconnections could be. As the world learned in 2008, such networks are unstable. “If one [company] suffers distress,” says Glattfelder, “this propagates.”

“It’s disconcerting to see how connected things really are,” agrees George Sugihara of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in La Jolla, California, a complex systems expert who has advised Deutsche Bank.

Yaneer Bar-Yam, head of the New England Complex Systems Institute (NECSI), warns that the analysis assumes ownership equates to control, which is not always true. Most company shares are held by fund managers who may or may not control what the companies they part-own actually do. The impact of this on the system’s behaviour, he says, requires more analysis."

You do know that Obama deficit was half of Trump's when he left office?

You guys are still fucking blaming Obama for becoming president after Bush, who made Stalin look like a competent leader.

Obama's trillion dollars deficit was 100% driven by financial recession.

Trump is the big spender buddy. I know facts hurt sometimes.

Obama is responsible for the greatest increase in national debt in the history of the country, nominally speaking ($8.5 Trillion). Unless they want to look like hypocrites, Dems and Liberal posters here have no right to utter a word about Trump's deficit numbers or spending habits until he at least surpasses Obama since they never cared when Obama was doing it.

This is ridiculously false. Actually the opposite of reality. Obama was responsible for the largest decrease in national debt in the history of the country. What's more, any economist will tell you that we wanted higher deficits when interest rates were very low and unemployment is high, and we want lower deficits now that unemployment is low. The hypocrites are the people who were pretending that debt was a major threat a few years ago, and then immediately flipped in November 2016.

Note that it's actually because Obama fixed the long-term debt that Republicans were able to then pass a law that massively increased debt.

And he got screwed by having the balls to speak the truth

You've offered nothing but your opinion that 21 Savage and most hip hop artists don't write their own lyrics. 21 Savage was in the US since he was like 7, where he was born doesn't change where he grew up at or what occurred while he was in the US.

1st Link, they had similar lyrics, not the same lyrics.
2nd link, Joey Badass co-wrote with Post Malone, not 21 Savage's part.
He faked his background. His father is a city council member and his mother is married to a doctor. That doesn't mean he didn't go through a tough and criminal upbringing, but that's not the point I'm trying to make. A song he was featured on had a ghostwriter, whether it was for him or not, and others have said he was stealing lyrics. There are countless cases of the popular artist having ghostwriters like Kanye, Lil Wayne, Drake, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Dre, Snoop, Post Malone, Lil Kim, Nas, and the list goes on. Again, whether or not he specificly had other people write his "lyrics" is not the point, the point is that there is a giant machinery behind these artist and everything is highly orchestrated. From image, to clothes, to beats, to lyrics and so on so forth. Hip hop is a 10+ billion dollar industry and artists are only making about 10-12% of that. It's all assembly line consumerism and you'd be a fool to believe that it's not being carefully packaged.

Sure it sounds good sometimes, but it's music for gullible kids and grown idiots. I'm not singling out the hip hop industry though, in fact, that's just one part of it. I'm talking about the mainstream music industry as a whole. It's vapid, soulless, stupid, slickly produced fakery with "personas" and "images" instead of people. Imagine worshipping this trash as a mindless follower, celebrating being an airhead bimbo as per popstars, a "hoe" with big tits, or a drug addicted criminal. Worshipping money and flashy lights.

What if Obama had let the big banks fail?

Lol, more than half driven by financial recession.

And I don't fault Trump's deficit. This is one of the few times Trump told the truth. If the banks default on our debt, we can send a drone bomb to their house, and ask for a new credit evaluation from their replacements.

Our debt isn't real. Bernie Sanders is right, it is free stuff. It's only cost is made up electronic 1's and 0's.

You actually believe Obama is a race traitor? And you even refereed to him as a white man hiding under the guise of being black?

He took primary racial identity as a black man for political purposes and then advanced policies that left his supposed "fellow" African Americans worse off at the end of his eight years in office, betraying them. That is West's position. Though it's probably too complex a critique for the limited capacities of guys like you and Gaylord Phallus.

What if Obama had let the big banks fail?

Worse idea ever. I understand the thought behind it, but we would have found out what human flesh tastes like when the system broke down.

We need to break up the banks. They need to be small enough that we can let them fail.

Did half of you get offended?
The other half's privilege should balance it out.
seeing as it wasnt directed at me and I dont think he meant it with any ill intent, no.... no part of me was offended. I just thought it best to make him aware rather than accuse him of anything.

your post is more offensive than the OP, but we all know you are a cunt anyway..... so its no biggie

You're right, it's probably too complex for us, only an adult like you who calls people 'gaylords' could understand it.
