Vengance: UFC gives Conor a rematch

Well, seeing that McGregor is not champ at 170 i am not sure how the two compare. And if we follow the Aldo schedule McGregor need not defend for another 10 months or so.
Sure, I feel that he should vacate if he takes the Diaz fight at 200, but that has nothing to do with Aldo deserving a rematch. He has had plenty of time to book a fight to prove he has what it takes to still be relevant.
Because no one shud get a rematch right away if they lose unless your a dominant champ well thats how it should be imo plus connors hole thing is hell fight anyone any weight but to me hes un proven in his own weightclass interms of a champion your supposed too fight the best guys in your weightclass. Thats what the ufc is meant too be about the best guys fighting the best guys not a champ fighting a guy a weightclass above him who imo nates not champion material but stil a great fighter. But its just backwards he should hafto fight the best guys in his weight like every other champion has too

WEC 44, November 19th, 2009 Jose Aldo defeats Mike Brown (C) by TKO. It's being generous to call the WEC belt the UFC belt. We don't do that for Stann do we?

EDIT: btw, If you are going to sell Aldo you have to sell him short. No one will believe he is tall.
Cruz wec champ faber henderson pettis all did very well in the ufc cerrone wec was stacked

was this an intentional dodge? It doesn't seem intentional but we certainly are not on the same page.
What do you mean? You tried too say wec champs wernt really champs? When really alot of the wec guys went straight into the ufc and won.. aldo included

Are you lobbying for a rematch with Aldo, or a title shot for Edgar? All this "fight the best". He fought Aldo, but it only lasted 13 seconds so you might have missed it.

Even brain stann did well he might of not been a champ in the ufc but he was top ten and beat some good guys

Nope. Not at all. I said his title rein is only six years and that is IF you count WEC. Do we call Brian Stann a former UFC LHW Champ? I have never heard it mentioned that way.
Aldo's first fight on canvas with UFC on it was only a little under five years ago. But since UFC didn't have a FW division I have no issue including those years in this rein.

What im saying is you should fight the contenders right in front of you aldo got ko'd yea he still should get a rematch no question he deserves it and frankie derseves the shot moee than mcgregor derseves too fight diaz again in my imo winning the belts great but you hafto defend it too be a real champ and then go up too lightweight.

My comment was not a knock on Stann, WEC, or Aldo's time there. Im just saying that we don't count strikeforce titles in years a title was held. We don't call Stann a former UFC champ, yet Aldo does get those years counted towards his six year long decade. And like I said, I have no issue with it.

And if were being honest he has a lot too prove at featherweight i wana see him go 5 hard rounds with someone before he mixes it up with the likes of rda and those boys

Thats tru but it should still be noted its hard too be good all the time even anderson had losses when he was young but aldo never did apart from his pro debut usally people lose in the lower levels but aldo never did so you hafto consider that

ALdo went 18 without a loss, Anderson 17. EDIT: miss counted , fixed now
BUT I didn't support a rematch without a fight or two before another title shot for Silva either. Or Ronda. Or Holm. Or tate when she loses. Or JJ when DC surprises the world.

I guess it is fair to say I am a fan of the #1 Contender must system. But even then it doesn't apply to the Diaz rematch as McG is not defending the belt.

Yea but silva was subbed a couple times and come on for sure silva deserved a imediate rematch hes argubly the goat and the way he lost in the 1st weidman fight kinda helped the rematch but regardless silva deserved it. ronda not so much i agree. The only other guy is jones easliy and cain if he was healthy but not now

True, Silva was subbed a few times, but he fought in 40 fights FORTY, you gonna get caught, you learn from you mistakes. He got subbed TWICE, DQ'd once, and dropped a 2 round decision in his 3rd pro fight. Yes, if any one deserved one it would be him, but Ill stick to the #1 contender must. It only holds the losing champ back by one fight as long as he is still worthy of a Championship fight.

But this is fighting man these guys hole lives relvove around martial arts theres no way in hell nate is guna throw a fight

no, their whole lives revolve about making cash money as number 1 priority.
