Velasquez had better come back STRONG against Browne

Browne is a tune up fight for him, but it's a bit of a rough one. Browne isn't exactly easy to take down and control, i think only Werdum has taken him down, and Werdum's top control is better than Cain's.

I was going to say the same thing, We'll see if Cain can jam him against the cage and work him over there. Browne is very slippery insisting on grappling with him is not easy. With that said if Cain is anything like the fighter he used to be he should be able to swarm him and take him down.

I'm sure it had been said before but man does Dana have it for Rondas boyfriends. He is throwing them shit sandwiches one after another. Than again apart from few exeptions there are all dangerous fighters at HW.
Not really. I think if they wanted to fuck with him they could give him a difficult opponent that is not all that highly ranked. Brown takes a risk by fighting Cain, but the potential reward is also pretty big too, don't ya think?

Cain had better be careful with this one. Browne can be quick and definitely has the power to put him down.

This is a closer fight than people realize imo

Velasquez better the carWIN on against Browne or he's gonna get Shane'd out.

lol is that motion even good for anything in MMA besides powering out of kneebars?

actually nevermind I was thinking of the other isolation movement- the opposite one.

the movement Cain is doing is only good for powering out of the Boston Crabhold.

latest

sure but whatever they're doing it has still made them very succesful unlike team quest & that juicer sonnen
Rockhold is the only champ right now. DC needs to beat Jones or have Jones retire.

I know, that lame ass Sonnen should have fought clean like Silva.

By the time he fights Browne on the 9th of July he will have only fought once in 33 months, in which fight he didn't prepare seriously and got destroyed.

I remember when Cain was a Mike Kerr-like smashing machine with devastating wrestling domination, top control and huge volume of strikes. What a sad turn his career has taken.

Now he's still only 33, which is by no means old for an HW. Browne is a big name and a good opportunity for him to get active again and get his name back out there and show he is still relevant.

On the other hand if he delays this fight with injury again, or comes in unprepared, or gives a weak performance then no one could really give him any more chances.

I don't know which Velasquez to expect. I would like to believe that he will be 'back'. But I don't know.
Who is this velasqwez guy? Some new prospect hype train job like sage?

Sonnen lied to his dead dad about winning that belt for him

for shame

I honestly never even expect him to make it to the octagon, it could be 5 minutes before the fight, and I still figure he'll somehow injure himself on the way to the cage.

Silva lied when he said "I back".

And Jones would have snitched on them both if he was sober enough to understand what was being said.
