I think it's kind of past that now. It's a pretty normal thing to do. My sister is a pole instructor and she's very athletic even in her late 30's.

That's true, but I think it'll gradually change. Certainly the perception of it is a lot different for adults now. Nobody thinks anyone is a slut for going to pole class.
