These don't line up.
This adds up. Russia did the "the right" a favor...if you're someone who values foreign electioneering over national security.
At least this guy is being honest and laying it out. He doesn't mind that Russia hacked our servers (which included Republican servers, btw, as the CIA/NSA/FBI have all now told us...they just didn't launder and release those troves). He isn't concerned about the foreign threat.
Like Trump.
I give a little wink and a nod to the Russians, and that's about where our relationship ends.
I lean to the right, for sure, so I will make fun of those Democrats more, but I can tell you quite a few things I'm already unhappy with seeing the Republicans do in Congress, or not do.
Let's talk about the Republicans for a moment, and how inept they have proven to be time and time again. Being the party of no should have served the left a victory on a silver platter in 2016.
But these parties aren't just fighting to see who can out corrupt the other and steal elections, they also try to be the most inept.
Hell, the Republicans lost the primaries to Donald Trump. Which is why they now grovel under his foot. Thankfully for them he's a rich dude that's never known anything but being rich so he's going to support most of what they will support.
I'm happy to live here on the Shining City on the hill and all that, wouldn't trade it for anything, but my panties are not twisted because for once someone interfered in our elections, taking a page out of our book going way back to basically since World War II.
I don't know if you travel abroad much, but doing so has made me shed a little bit of that American exceptionalism bullshit but we get fed as children. I'm not going to go into a triggered convulsion on the floor here because the Russians hacked the DNC and the RNC, and derailed the party that was making Headway on getting rid of free speech.

A little comedy, a little hyperbole, but not entirely a joke. To certain extents, Headway would have started to be made on these issues and thankfully Middle America rejects that shit along with the Great American safety net, available for apparently anyone that wants to come jump in it.
But anyway, we're not done getting a taste of our own medicine, and Russia is not going to be the only country doing it to us.
Which seems like total common sense to me except for there's a big pocket of the population that is still so fucking but hurt from November but they are going to latch on and hold on to whatever it is the media is feeding as they unabashedly attack the president from every angle, wall-to-wall, every single minute of every single day for the next four years.
