Valentina Shevchenko

...she fought Sarah Kaufman. Chad fought Conor McGregor.

Not getting kicked in the stomach by one of the heaviest hitters in her weight class probably helped

Poor Chad ate about 15 hard body shots inside those 2 rounds

Not a fan of Ronda but at least I recognized what I was looking at when I read her name...

One fought an overrated WMMA fighter who seemingly still hasn't found her footing in the UFC. (Kaufman.)
One fought one of the best in the game. (McGregor.)

That, and Shevchenko was already in the middle of a training camp for a fight in January.

That's my explanation. The haters say that had little to do with it though. So if their position is correct, this girl should have had maybe 1 round of cardio.

Apparently she just fights all the time. I was watching a bunch of videos of her and in several of them it said she has something like 500 fights. If that's true, it's just batshit ridiculous.

Those people are blinded by hate, idiots or both

Obviously the short camp didn't help... But Chad got lit up to the body that's undeniable and of course it'll make a difference with Conor's power

And until Chad lost Chad was in shape year round.

It's a bit of a tangent but I was curious to know why someone from her neck of the woods fights out of Lima, of all places. Does anybody know how she selected her gym?
I actually wanted to know that same question. She needs to get a good camp, she can go places.

She's a legit badass. And the way she won that fight was mighty impressive too. She's going places. Or well, even more places rather. 16-time muay thai world champion is ridiculously impressive.

Well, my, uh "friend", got banned for just honestly answering a question just like this, so I'll stay away from the rant.
But she has more in common with the people she trains with then with the Dagestani or Chechen camps that are the place to train in Russia

Are people under the assumption that every fighter is living he exact same life? If you have common sense you understand that each situation is unique, you will also consider that men carry more muscle and therefore require more oxygen, having said that Mendes gassed wayyyyy to fast in that fight, but this comparison is pointless.
