Valentina Shevchenko is NOT slowing down

What willing contenders? Chookagian Andrade and Santos had already lost to Shev
Manon Fiorot was injured and Blanchfield needed get higher in the rankings

Grasso was the only one available in the top 5
Santos

It's not necessarily the age it's the miles. She has been fighting pro for 20 years now. It may not be tonight but sooner than later she's going to fall. Legend no matter what though.

She's past her prime and she's gonna lose soon. She also arguably lost to Santos and her goofy ass headbutt saved her ass. Don't worry tho, she will beat the can in Grasso
I agree with both of you actually, yeah Taila was dangerously close to winning before that headbutt. But also, Val's ego seemed like it was bruised in that fight, she kept initiating grappling and then LOSING the grappling exchanges, and then she maybe thought Taila was getting lucky? I don't know

Her striking isn't what ppl make it to be?
What? She is one of the best counterstriker in the game

She has beat the most decorated strikers at stand up. She beat Amanda Nunes at stand up, Amanda barely got a SP due to a couple of takedowns.

She also completaly outclassed Holm at stand up (x18 times world boxing champion)

She outclassed Joanna too (x5 timed world muay thai champion)

So you are saying her striking is overrated? Who is beating her at stand up?
Told you bro. She panic wrestled just like I said she would and it still wasn't enough this time. Even surprised me
