Rumored Usyk vs Wilder - April/May in the US

Usyk is relatively long ago over the hill and out of physical prime. However Uncle still is considerably more mobile and " fresh " than Parker.

Usyk has lost some speed and his legs aren't as good as they were 4 or 5 years ago but he's compensating for it in other ways. You could even argue that he's never looked better at heavyweight than he did in his last fight. He didn't get hit and KO'd his opponent early. Now that he's really starting to sit down on his shots he's hurting guys. Men that are much bigger than himself.
 
Just read something that Wilder said about the advantages he holds over Usyk. It's a bit head-scratching to put it mildly.

Wilder: “I do have the speed and the height and the athleticism, which are three things that give me an advantage.”

Does he actually think that he's faster and more athletic than Usyk? The article goes on to say…

“Most fans will strongly disagree with the speed and athleticism points, but Wilder’s notorious right hand is likely to still represent a potent weapon if he can find the time to fire it against an elite mover in Usyk.”

Realistically, he holds 3 distinct advantages over Usyk — Height, reach, and power. The first two he doesn't use particularly well and the last one hasn't come through for him in a while.

Usyk is southpaw with ecellent jab. Very good jab and counter for this too as usually world arguments to claim that you are elite am.

Usyk had afforded to use tram and cafee before title fight in RIX vs Briedis. Without security guards used.

Ofc in RIX atmosphere was different. Since Usyk was recognized as high level specialist and was respectful then walk where you want.....

There if about legs. Take fight vs Tim.
Switch off sound and watch from floor till hips with 0.25 speed.
Compare with other his fights in such mode.
Legs gone vs recovery before final decline of uncle.

Is this a serious post?

Wilder is completely shot to pieces and will be lucky to land more than 15 punches.

Usyk would be favored not only to win but inside the distance.
My point is that would be the logical choice to bet not a far stretch,Wilder is completely washed.

Yeah the way Usyk dismantled probably a prime Dubois, no not over the hill. And this is a great fight for Usyk, Wilder certainly is over the hill and even prime for prime Usyk takes that one anyway.

After the first Usyk loss Dubois of course went on a three-fight KO streak against 2 unbeaten contenders and a former champ. Forget prime, Dubois looked as if he was starting to peak. We won't know for certain until later on but that's what I suspect was happening up until Usyk halted his momentum in the rematch.

I'm wondering if he is mixing up Wilder and Usyk as English doesn't appear to be his first language. Usyk isn't young but I would argue his recent win over Dubois may be his most impressive win given the run Dubois was on and how effortless it was. Not to mention his wins over Fury are probably his next best and also recent.

Wilder was easily beaten by Parker and Zhang and hasn't looked competitive against top opposition since late 2021. Could he beat Usyk? Sure anything is possible, but given his recent fights this is a less extreme version of Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul. Expecting one guy to turn back the clock when there is zero evidence of him being able to do so in recent memory.

Yeah, that's why I found it odd that he'd list it as an advantage. Power is an athletic attribute that he has but it's only one of them. Usyk has the speed, stamina, agility, and physical strength advantages.

Take videos from his fight vs Whiterspoon.
Switch OFF comments and turn 0.25 x speed.
Watch legs from floor till hips.
After this I had assumed that legs are gone and he should retire ASAP. He managed to recover a bit since this.
