He may've been but I doubt it. Usually they'll flag them down and give them some facetime if they're in attendance. He probably changed his mind or had something else going on. It doesn't really matter though because Usyk vs Wilder wouldn't have been next anyway. That fight has no chance of happening before a possible Usyk vs Fury fight sometime next year.

Agree. Usyk rather fight statues with legs. Guys that won't bully him like Fury or hit his block off like Wilder.
Usyk in rare cases had fought statues with legs.
Actually even his am resume is super impressive...and in pro CW he had fought opponents in their physical prime...

Fury might outwrestle Usyk. Like IMHO even then prime Briedis was able ( due to fanbase this then couldn't afford to use dirtywrestle and dirtybox vs Usyk otherwise he anyway had lost further tickets sales potential ).
Usyk hates clinch and standup grappling irl.
While for Wilder he might be hell. Best counter punch Usyk might deliver is counter vs straight right...
IMHO Russo still might get for Usyk more problems than Wilder.
While if Wilder will be very mobile and use his left hand a lot and switch to some standup grappling type fight too....then he might maybe even win on cards....
If just to attempt KO with right hand...it will be win for Usyk....via TKO.

I think Fury bullies him. I can argue Fury is the best boxer Usyk would have fought plus that size, power, and ability to bully him. Unlike AJ, Fury wouldn't chase. AJ doesn't have that skill set nor fight iq. Too emo as seen on the mic after. Not got the heart either.
I think Usky gives Wilder a 12rd boxing lesson until Wilder hits him with the touch of death. I think Wilder learned from the Fury fight. Furthermore, after the big W last night, Wilder waa on the back foot and won.
You gave credit to Wilder. A lot of phlebs are blind. Some Morin tried to argue that wasn't a knockouts <45>The guy got hit dead. A CW cannot handle that sort of power. 36min and Wilder needs just 1.
It's a big ask but at Wilders age now, to ask him to really sit down on jabs and hooks would add more to his game. It's possible Usky evades the right. If he has more weapons, it adds to the opportunities to end the game.
Imagine, Wilder started earlier? If he had better fundamentals? Less flaws that a seasoned amateur would work through? The fact he's gone this far on a single nuclear right hand is INSANE! He won world titles and a bronze on a single right hand and a 99% success rate. 100% knockdown rate in every fight. Losing to Fury is no Shame. Arguably, the 1st fight was a walk off KO by 99% of judges. Fury could have beat legends of the past. He was that good. Wilder could have fought any of them and had a chance because of the right.

It's not like Wilder has ever won a fight because he was the better boxer, so Usyk won't be that different of an opponent for him.

I cant think of a more awkward press tour than Usyk/Wilder. That shit would be comedy.
Lesser boxers than Usyk have made Wilder look like a fool before the big right lands. Even fury himself was not immune to it and almost got himself KO’d by it.
Having said that, Usyk is smarter and better at adapting than any fighter Wilder has fought and the pace Usyk will force him to fight at will drain him. Anything can happen but my money would be on Usyk by decision. Would love to see this fight.
and by the way there’s a good chance usyk comes in heavier than wilder for that fight. Wilder is tall but his best weight is under 100kg. It would be interesting to see if wilder decides to come in heavier but that wouldn’t be smart.

Usyk cannot make a more taxing fight than Fury, and Wilder maintained his power to the very end of the fight.
Usyk can box him up without a doubt, but he isnt wearing Wilder down and battering him. No chance. And if he tried hed get KTFO.
I think Fury tired him up by laying on hin, being much heavier, not pace. Usyk would need to bring a pace like the one he did vs Joshua to get a similar effect. Definitely more dangerous, it’s always dangerous against Wilder but let’s not get confused here, removing fury from the picture, (whom Wilder arguably lost 3 in a row) Usyk is a much better boxer than anyone wilder has fought. Usyk should be the favorite

My honest opinion, resumes yes Usyk should be the favorite
but beyond resumes, and just the styles make fights and what I really believe, Wilder is Usyks most dangerous and outright bad match up. But that’s how Wilder breaks down for most at HWT. How do you plan for the right when he barely has to land it? I’m very biased, but this is 100% my real prediction, I think the equalizer takes Usyks 0, by no means do I think it will be the one and only fight between them, but if they do fight and have a series of contests I think Wilder catches him and dramatically
no it’s exactly what I said in my post. To achieve similar results he will need a completely different game plan but he is a good enough boxer that he may get the same effect as fury did. Albeit taking more risks of course due to the size difference.
