Is it not established, he didn't actually break his jaw. Also going into that last round Colby was possibly up on the cards, plus that stoppage was not necessary
 
That's another win for Diaz. All he was trying to do here is get Usman to offer him a title shot and it worked. Nate trying to educate these other fighters on the business of prize fighting.

So you'd give the shot to Edwards and make Colby face the winner of Wonderboy and Burns? Diaz getting a title shot would make Masvidal getting an entirely undeserved rematch look like sound and logical match making.
 
I've never really been one to jump on the whole "I will stop watching UFC if blah blah blah" but Diaz getting a title shot would def bring me close to it. How the hell does he deserve a WW title shot?

Compare that to the pathetic stats of Woodley vs Wonderboy 2.

Usman and Colby landed as many significant strikes and Woodley and Wonderboy attempted.

I wouldn't mind seeing them go at again purely from an entertainment standpoint.

Usmans brother told him during the fourth round break that Colbys jaw was broken, because they had broadcasted it during the third round break; if Kamaru doesn't know that going into the fifth round maybe he doesn't spend the first two minutes throwing three strikes? He was losing that round until he cracked Colby on his broken jaw; because he was aiming for it at all costs.



Colby has done just as much post title fight loss as the average title challenger who loses. There is nothing abnormal about his layoff or his schedule thus far.

This is a common misconception that does not hold up to reality if you look into it yourself.

Also, Dana has said Colby is next for the past three months, we know who is next. There is not some controversy here. This is a thread where Kamarus apologists (who do a very poor job) are defending this extremely embarrassing behavior from him and his management on social media.

You don't have to worry, they aren't making it, we have known since the day Kamaru defeated Jorge Masvidal for a second time that Covington would be Usmans next opponent. Dana said so at the post fight press conference.

Which he stated again at the UFC 262 post fight press conference in May and the UFC 263 post fight press conference in June; Covington will be Kamarus next opponent whenever he is ready.

This is Kamaru and his management embarrassing themselves and throwing his legacy in the trash and it has been going on for several weeks.

First it was Michael Chiesa who Ali said Usman would fight in June if the UFC wanted; which they did not.

Then it was Belal.

Then Ali said okay Leon should get it over Colby.

Now they are back onto Nate Diaz.

I am guessing GSP will be their next callout, because it seems their is no callout too absurd or low for Kamaru.



He is not confident. Usman has serious knee issues and would likely be a shell of himself if he were to even be able to make it another five rounds in a high pace cardio intensive fight.

UFC 261, headlined by Kamaru with no Nate, sold 700,000 domestically with no Nate Diaz.




Colby is the #1 contender.

Dana White has said Colby Covington will be Kamarus next opponent.

Kamaru gets to choose if he fights, not who he fights.

If he wants to vacate the belt and let the two fighters he has been avoiding like the plague (Covington & Edwards) fight for the vacant belt then he should bow out with some grace and do so immediately instead of continuing to degrade his legacy.

Colby has 0 wins in the top 15.. What's to be scared of?.. His biggest "win" is having a close fight with Usman before being TKO'd

Colby is great at smashing up past prime fighters though I'll give you that.. Only other fighter I can think off the top of my head that Colby fought that isn't washed is Alves.. Which he lost
