I usually use some crappy gloves for lifting, i saw one of my friends who happens to be a bodybuilder the other day, he told me i shouldnt use em, because that way my grip power increases. Is that a myth, cuz i noticed a lot of the ripped guys in the gym dont wear em either.

Sry if its been posted b4.

Your friend is right. There are also some research that has proven that the direct contact with the skin of your hands on the bar increases muscle recruitment. It is sketchy at best but if it possible then why not try it out?
