Richard Nixon faced impeachment.

President Trump is under no such risk. To the extent you think otherwise, is the extent you will be proven wrong.

I was speaking more to the fact that Trump has been exposed as a craven piece of shit whom nobody with character could or would support, and committed felonies. The impeachment question is still a mere reflection of the servile nature of the Republicans in the House and Senate.

I believe many here are in the stage of grief known as denial. Impeachment will proceed in January when Democrats take the house, or earlier. Think about how many more indictments and/or disclosures will come out in that time.

Trump gets away "SCOTT" free because he actually did not collude with Russia.

Problem is we know for a fact that Trump Jr, Manafort and Kushner all sought to collude with Russia in that Trump Tower meeting. Trump himself also asked a foreign government(Russia) publicly to commit a crime against his political rival during a nationwide campaign. An in the Cohen court filing we now know he was approached to facilitate 'political synergy' between Russia and the Trump campaign/administration.

So we have Trumps son, son in law, campaign manager and his personal lawyer all connected to collusion. These are all facts, nothing is speculation.

Now you're just engaging in wishful thinking.

Assuming every single word you said is the absolute gospel truth (a big assumption, but we'll grant it for the sake of this thought experiment).

None of that will lead to the impeachment of President Trump.

Do you know why? It's one very simple reason.

Why begin impeachment before their and Mueller's investigations are over? That's not even counting the emoluments clause and the Saudi connection.

President Trump is going to serve two full terms and leave office on January 20th 2025.

Richard Nixon's poor reputation is largely to due with the fact that he didn't serve two full terms. As more time passes, more and more people are aware of less of the details of the Richard Nixon case. Now, most people just sum up the Nixon scandal in a few sentences, or just a few words.

Ronald Reagan also had the Iran-Contra Scandal during his time in office. Reagan's critics thought this was going to be the Scandal to take him down. It ended up becoming a minor footnote in the history of the Reagan Administration.

The Russian collusion conspiracy theory will end up in much the same way, a footnote and an irrelevant bit of trivia.

Ronald Reagan had major legislative victories. Trump has......a looming recession dude to his tax cuts for the rich, a child separation policy, and a failed wall. Cooool.

Trump and the WH were coordinating with Paul Manafort this year. Just another obstruction of justice "detail" to provide.

That assessment of Trump serving two terms? This is denial in complete.

Are you able to answer my question?

When a vague question follows fictional thoughts. The entire premise of your post doesnt hold weight. All the errors in judgement need to be addressed before the conversation can be moved forward.

Without that no commonality can be found. If this cant be met, my time replying to you is frivolous.

As has President Trump. The tax cuts were a victory for the President and the American people.

Pure speculation on your part.

You have no ability to predict the future, quit pretending you do.

a child separation policy,
A: This was a policy that was fully enforced by the previous Obama administration. (If you come back with some form of "B-But Obama", that will show that you never really cared about any of these families being separated, and this is just a craven political attack using migrant families as political cover).

B: If I cross an international border illegally, I have no expectation of being allowed to stay with my family. Why should anyone else?

and a failed wall. Cooool.
Rome wasn't built in a day. We still have 6 years of President Trump to go, be patient.

You're unable to answer my question. Got it.

It's a pretty simple question, I'm surprised you're unable to formulate an answer:

None of the things that you listed will lead to the impeachment of President Trump. Do you know why?

It's quite clear that you don't, which is shocking considering how obvious the answer is.

I don't think they'll see it that way. It's a political conviction and they can choose not to move forward with it, that simple. Only if they fear the party falling apart in 2020 (or 2022 if it gets to that point) will they act, imo.
I didn't used to, but right now I think the time when Senate Republicans sense of self-preservation kicks in is going arrive sooner rather than later.

The Republican voting base overwhelmingly supports President Trump.

Supporting President Trump is self-preservation for an elected Congressional Republican.

Right now. Let's just wait and see, shall we?

The tax cut has bloated our deficit, and we are looking at a recession real soon. Great for the american people, like 2008. This is not my speculation, but of economists.

You don't want Obama brought up after bringing him up? Are you smoking crack? No president before Trump had the separation policy, nor enforced it. That was the entire point of the outrage. For fuck's sake, again, you are not entitled to your own facts.

You make farmers look foolish....
