See this is the thing. From what I heard, the victim said "oh youre gonna stab me?" Took off his jacket and further engaged the suspect. Not sure if they actually went fisticuffs though. But bringing fists to a knife fight ain't a move I'd be willing to make.

instead of pulling out the hands in response to the woman holding the knife, the postal worker should have just pulled out a loaf of bread and a jar of mayo. her womanly instincts would have kicked in and she would've made him a sandwich.

News FWIW said both were regular customers at the deli.

The two argued over who was in line first. Words were ex changed, next the postal worker was spit on. He saw a pitcher of lemonade & emptied it on the spitter. It was then that he was stabbed repeatedly, sadly taking his life.

Suspect was arrested on site and charged with 2nd degree murder,
The deli was now a crime scene, temporarily closed to be processed.



A reporter interviewed the visibly upset mother about what had trans pired.

She said it was senseless violence and she never expected bury her son.

I've learned not to sweat the little things. I've also learned that going beyond holding doors open and small things like that to not help out others much anymore. It may just be a California thing, because I don't get the grief I get here in the South, Midwest, and most of the East Coast.

I helped a lady get her luggage down from a tram at LAX after watching her struggle and give up. She yelled and carried on at me and then proceeded to fall down over her bag as she exited the tram. She then yelled at me more. I was traveling with another guy I work with that couldn't quit laughing until we hit the airport security. I'll bet if she had a knife and a penis, I would have got cut.

oh hell no, that's my initial point, women are physically inept, I came here because on the surface, it didn't sound right that she stabbed a man. Now, I know it can happen, a knife is potentially very dangerous but the average woman 1. isn't socialized to that sort of violence and 2. isn't physically agile or strong enough for the average man. Once someone explained that it was a tranny, it all made sense. A knife is very dangerous in a man's hands. Some self defense teachers advise avoiding a knife fight at any cost, others say that's defeatist. I never been in a situation like that and all I can say is I hope I never am. First question I ask guys when they start some shit or act like they want to fight is, "do you have a gun or a knife?" Sure, they could lie but they also might show it or say they have it.

I've often wondered how I'd handle a situation like that, I don't really know. but one thing I think i would do is grab something like a garbage can or a chair and run at the fucker. I don't really know though, it's not a good idea to deal with it with no equilizer.

you know it's bad if you can smell yourself. The prices are good too, 12-13 bucks for a sancwich, chips and soda, not bad. Even the groceries are ridiculous around here, six eggs i just bought are 469, also bought a fruit bowl, 7 something. just crazy. 18 bucks for that and some english muffins and 2 rotten bananas (I like old bananas over green ones).
