My opinion : I firmly believe we need a smaller federal government. I also believe we need a smaller military.

I believe the previous administration(s) have bloated the government and often those positive job growth reports (before they are revised downward) are often government jobs. I would prefer to see the private sector grow.

My weight has yoyo'd since I was 20 but after a year into COVID I took off 25 lbs for good and started an exercise routine I don't deviate from. Cheers.

For a long while during Biden's time in office I can remember conservatives complaining that the employment numbers were not right. What was happening is that the original numbers would be mentioned that would be helpful for Democrats. Then a few months later with little reporting by the press revised downward numbers would be released. Later it was noticed on conservative sights that very few people had gotten jobs while Biden was in office, as the revised numbers showed.

So what was different to me today is that the revised downward employment numbers were mentioned by the press. They were not doing this to Biden and the Democrats. Trump is treated differently though.

The bigger picture I've long thought is that numbers coming out of the government for awhile now can't be trusted. This harms officials that need reliable, accurate numbers in order to create sound policy.

So good move on firing the person who was in charge of these employment numbers. She did seem to be political. I hope someone more accurate and helpful is found as her replacement.

actually, if you look at the graph below comparing house hold survey’s reported employment level to the BLS non farm jobs, it has tracked fairly evenly up until the the Biden administration, when it started putting out bogus numbers that always looked good for the admin. Seems banana republic to me and gives clear reason why this person should be fired.
