Social US expels more than 100 Chinese migrants in rare mass deportation

Cool story, but the issue isn't whether or not Americans are willing to do these jobs, though I would agree that they don't and kicking out immigrants isn't going to change that, but there are more available jobs than there are available workers including the immigrants that are already here.
you're right, won't change us at all.

Anyway, what are these "available jobs" that an american would want? I need one, I'm tired of doing the same jobs as immigrants do. I'm not doing any customer service and I really hate fucking around with resumes and applying when it's usually a waste of time for me. Gotta say, I've never ever liked those sorts of what to me is just a game. I don't like telling anyone how great I am or any of that shit so I don't. Delivery and most customer service jobs are a complete dead end and a job pretty much anyone can get.

I'm not asking for a guidance consular (sp) you are the one who said there are jobs, I don't believe you. Not jobs that I want. I'm not talking about wiping asses, you can do it if you want. My point is, that's not a valid job. You brought it up. where are these jobs?

The number of job openings increased by 372,000 to 7.744 million in October 2024 from a downwardly revised 7.372 million in September and above market expectations of 7.48 million. Job openings increased in professional and business services (+209,000), accommodation and food services (+162,000), and information (+87,000) but decreased in federal government (-26,000). Regarding regional distribution, job openings rose in the South (486,000), and in the West (133,000), but fell in the Northeast (-195,000) and in the Midwest (-52,000). Meanwhile, the number of hires and total separations changed little at 5.3 million. Within separations, quits (3.3 million) and layoffs and discharges (1.6 million) changed little. source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics

ok, I'll look into it.

It just doesn't make any sense to deport good hard working people. We need more workers, not less.
That's a VERY rose colored glasses way of looking at this problem. I highly doubt the majority of migrants (illegal or not) have jobs or even "down low" jobs. Or at the very least pulling their weight to not to not live off social welfare (tax burden). And how many are "good"??.... Now you are just forcing yourself you be dishonest about your knowledge of them. Because you absolutely don't know either way. Because there are quite a few dead Americans at the hands of migrants in these past couple years.
The future will be a competition for labor as demographics all over the world continue to decline. We need as many people on our team as we can get.
THIS is not how we do it though. Especially due to how many criminals have leaked through.
Mass deportations won't happen for anyone except blatant violent criminals and gangsters.
That's what I am saying. It'll be a slow trickle of people people deported. Or at least that'll be how it should work.

I don't think there's anything rose colored about it, if anything it's not even fully getting into the benefits of our migrant work force.

The percent of criminals in the migrant population tracks below the average for other demographics. It's just not true. Also, the majority of illegal migrants in the country have entered legally with a visa and overstayed, they were already vetted.

I think it's pretty funny you think people can just survive in America without earning some kind of money somewhere. (And reeks of someone who has never actually tried to interact with low income people) These people are economic migrants, they came here to work and many secured their visas by already having work lined up.

Migrants that illegally cross the border are less than half the total migrants in the country.

The hyper focus merely on just border crossings from the southern border is literally missing more than half the actual issue. Many also cross from Canada. Most don't enter illegally at all.

I know an East Indian who's legit in terms of his paperwork but he's not a citizen and he's talked shit about illegals, I bet he's getting nervous at this point. You remember the old saying from Germany that went something like "they came and took the such and such and I said nothing, then they came and took some other such and such, then they came for me and there was no one left to say anything" it might happen that way, we don't know.

Why would someone with legitimate paperwork be worried? Is he retarded?

he might be.

He's always worried about getting booted, or maybe it's just an act. I think he's kinda a con. I don't spend as much time around him as I used to because I feel like he manipulates me and I don't want to be mean.
