SO because something is bound to happen, we shouldn't have any accountability?

Well, none of them are held accountable, and we’re not held accountable when we do it.

I simply suggest you observe the reality of politics so you’re not perpetually outraged at its everyday workings.

Could you paste the text, possibly? I'm locked behind the paywall.

WASHINGTON — Three months before the 2016 election, a small group gathered at Trump Tower to meet with Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son. One was an Israeli specialist in social media manipulation. Another was an emissary for two wealthy Arab princes. The third was a Republican donor with a controversial past in the Middle East as a private security contractor.

The meeting was convened primarily to offer help to the Trump team, and it forged relationships between the men and Trump insiders that would develop over the coming months — past the election and well into President Trump’s first year in office, according to several people with knowledge of their encounters.

Erik Prince, the private security contractor and the former head of Blackwater, arranged the meeting, which took place on Aug. 3, 2016. The emissary, George Nader, told Donald Trump Jr. that the crown princes who led Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were eager to help his father win election as president. The social media specialist, Joel Zamel, extolled his company’s ability to give an edge to a political campaign; by that time, the firm had already drawn up a multimillion-dollar proposal for a social media manipulation effort to help elect Mr. Trump.

The company, which employed several Israeli former intelligence officers, specialized in collecting information and shaping opinion through social media.

It is unclear whether such a proposal was executed, and the details of who commissioned it remain in dispute. But Donald Trump Jr. responded approvingly, according to a person with knowledge of the meeting, and after those initial offers of help, Mr. Nader was quickly embraced as a close ally by Trump campaign advisers — meeting frequently with Jared Kushner, Mr. Trump’s son-in-law, and Michael T. Flynn, who became the president’s first national security adviser. At the time, Mr. Nader was also promoting a secret plan to use private contractors to destabilize Iran, the regional nemesis of Saudi Arabia and the Emirates.

After Mr. Trump was elected, Mr. Nader paid Mr. Zamel a large sum of money, described by one associate as up to $2 million. There are conflicting accounts of the reason for the payment, but among other things, a company linked to Mr. Zamel provided Mr. Nader with an elaborate presentation about the significance of social media campaigning to Mr. Trump’s victory.

The meetings, which have not been reported previously, are the first indication that countries other than Russia may have offered assistance to the Trump campaign in the months before the presidential election. The interactions are a focus of the investigation by Robert S. Mueller III, the special counsel, who was originally tasked with examining possible Trump campaign coordination with Russia in the election.

Mr. Nader is cooperating with the inquiry, and investigators have questioned numerous witnesses in Washington, New York, Atlanta, Tel Aviv and elsewhere about what foreign help may have been pledged or accepted, and about whether any such assistance was coordinated with Russia, according to witnesses and others with knowledge of the interviews.

Here’s some. It’s pretty large.

No, nyt reported they were investigating Flynn because of his interest in a Russian woman. Apparently wanting to bang a Russian chick is grounds for spying on a political campaign.

Another bit, which I freely admit is still not verified enough to draw conclusions about, the person who fed the info to Papadopolus has suspicious connections to British intelligence. It will look incredibly damning if we find out they planted that info to popodoplous intentionally.
Lol, you’re all over the place. NYT reported the Flynn thing as being part of a lot of other issues, and you have no idea what made that relationship raise flags.

And nothing you’re talking about is “enough to draw conclusions”. If something about the investigation isn’t kosher that will be figured out when it’s over,. Relax about your boy, remember, even OJ got off for shoddy police work.

Thanks, bud. I appreciate it.

Of note, Nader's central role, and ongoing cooperation with the Trump team. This story confirms some pretty obvious truths about the Trump team. I'm not surprised at all that ex-Israeli intelligence was involved with them. Also, unsurprised that SA, and UAE are involved.

The embassy move, and the pullout of the Iran deal are obvious markers of the collusion amongst these nations and the Trump team. Putting Israeli, and Gulf Arab interests above the interests of the American people. Simply disgusting.

Did you miss the other thread which is now confirmed, and I was right on both the charge, and the name of the spy?

Oh, and the fun fact it’s not his first time spying in presidential elections.

Oh no, Trump met with Israel.

Why wouldn’t Israel support trump, democrats are openly hostile to them.

Finally, trump is officially the worst Nazi ever.

You're losing steam, Bob. Maybe take a breather, go to RT, and get some new spin.

I think you're right.

As long as Trump still has the support of moron nation and their representatives in congress it is gonna be hard to hold Don the Con responsible for anything, maybe after he is out of office.

Why not just investigate the individuals?

What did any of the accusations have to do with Trump ?

First off, thanks for acknowledging that putting working with informants is a normal part of a law enforcement investigation, and that it is silly to refer to those people as "spies" in an attempt to discredit the information they have.

Secondly, the breadth of the investigation includes the entire trump campaign, of which trump is certainly included. If evidence exists that trump broke the law, then I'm not sure what you're problem is. I'm not going to go over everything that the investigation has uncovered over the last year, but certainly there is enough to warrant looking at trump for money laundering along with Cohen, and enough to look at trump for campaign violations for both coordinating with foreign entities before the election, and obstruction of justice for actions taken after the election.

Now I know you'll never admit that trump was involved, no matter what is presented. Unless you think we should just sweep everything under the rug when trump lies about Cohen's payment's to porn stars for four months until his own attorney unintentionally rats him out on live tv. So even if we take every one of your deflections at face value, we still have Cohen likely engaged in money laundering, by taken money from foreign agents, lying about it, hiding it, and using that same money to pay for non-disclosure agreements, and lying about that. So when you have the president, who would be directly implicated by those funds, lying about it repeatedly for four months while threatening to shut down the investigation because it deals with "his business dealings," do you not see how the investigation would focus, at least in part, on those lies?

In short bob, this is another attempt by trump supporters to, rather than discuss the investigation on it's merits, would prefer to terminate an investigation that has already resulted in numerous criminal charges and several guilty pleas. And when you go full retard and try and slander the investigation by calling informants "spies," the desperation becomes pretty clear.

But.. but.. whormy danials...

<36>

You’re sitting there complaining about whormy, meanwhile its just been reported that the guy planted in the trump campaign, has been involved in spying on presidential campaigns in the past.

But.. but.. whormy danials...

The crime of money laundering isn't any less severe because you used laundered money to pay off a porn star you paid to have sex with. More embarrassing, sure. But no less illegal. And the right is calling her whormy now. How cute, such family values. If she's such a filthy whore, what does that make trump for paying to fuck her, paying to keep her silent, and then lying to the world about it until caught? Try and stay on topic bob.

So you want me to be upset that an informant against the trump campaign has been a source for law enforcement previously? You sure aren't earning you're rubles today bob. We're back to you calling informants "spies." Re-read the post before this one.
