So I did some boxing sparring yesterday and ate a ton of body shots. Upper ab on the left side right under the chest was tender but nothing major. Today I wrestled and got crunched and contracted my abs from an ankle pick/cradle and strained it super bad. Probably a low grade tear.
Hurts to breathe, move, laugh, etc. basically anything that has to do with the abs which is everything.

Anyone else experience this? Super debilitating since everything hurts and if you tense it too hard I feel like it’s gonna get more injured. I think I hurt myself blowing my nose a little too hard too.
I can’t even lower myself to the floor or bed without pain too

I've had a few broken ribs and a sports hernia, not exactly the same but seems pretty comparable.
Both required rest to start. Rib got better on it's own, sports hernia needed physio / an exercise plan.
Probably smart to get it checked out but at the very least, just let it rest.

Maybe an intercostal strain or possibly did some damage to your cartilage. I've had tietze syndrome in the past and it's not fun.

Everyone is going to tell you to relax and back off your training for a while until you see improvements.

That's what happened to me awhile ago. I came here to say that basically, so I'm not sure what TS means by "upper ab", is this anterior like rectus abdominus aka what people think of abs usually. Or is this on the side or posterior side.

I had an intercostal strain I believe from BJJ awhile ago and it killed. Next day I couldn't get up out of bed, had to post on my elbows and shit to get out for a couple days. It sucks, just takes rest basically and then some little rehab exercises. If TS actually has a strain on his anterior abs under the pecs then I'd imagine the recovery will be much shorter as the blood supply has to be way better than to the ribs/intercostal.

Yeah it doesn’t feel like the ribs. It’s literally the front right under the chest. Upper rectus abdominis. Im very glad it’s not inter-whatever, sounds like a cross sectional twisting type of strain while mine is literally the ab muscle itself

Edit: nvm i felt around and it’s the rib. Thought it was the muscle itself but probably some cartilage

@jgarner has taken plenty of shots to the face and mouth particularly in his army days. I would listen to his advice.

Marine Corps. Get it right.

And yeah, the deal was if I let your father give me some face shots, I could do whatever I wanted with your mother. Great deal, surprised you were told about it.

Not as strong as Drew’s. Too wordy. The effort was there, though.

Where did I try to insult you? Any back and forth/argument between us is started by you lol.

Is your lack of self awareness really that poor? The entire reason we're even talking right now in this thread is because of you and spdrew addressed me specifically.

I think all that tren (which doesn't give people roid rage apparently lol) has started to rot your brain.

I can’t find where I insulted you, sorry.

I’ve never used tren. People make it sound pretty awesome, though. Gain city.

No, you're just going out of your way to egg someone on who is insulting me. Completely different right?

They also say it turns people psycho and has pretty terrible side effects. But yes, they say say it definitely works.

Maybe you should be less sensitive? Maybe your test never bounced back from your cycles and your estrogen is a bit high lol. I even said good effort to you. Drew’s comment got a laugh out of me. Sorry brah.

It doesn’t turn anyone psycho and, like with anything, the side effects aren’t that bad if you know what you’re doing. I know plenty of normal dudes who use it without issue. The folklore around tren on the internet is hilarious. Maybe people just like to blame it for them acting like jackasses. Who knows.

Dude says his best strength feats were from when he was on Tren. Including the 920lbs drafl at 240lbs BW.

Unrelated but yeah, tren is apparently great for performance.

It's interesting how you can accuse me of being emotional from estrogen but follow that by claiming tren can't affect your personality. Which is it?
