Even if Islam did use an IV for extra rehydration, in the fight game it's the equivalent of accidentally littering - frowned upon by some, makes no real difference to anything. At least you are being somewhat open minded about it now. I admit it doesn't look the best for Islam, but I'd like some form of proof before condemning him. I can't say for sure he did or didn't but there is some funny things that went down from everybody, I just refuse to condemn without something more concrete.

I think most rational people agree Islam should be held accountable if this is true. I don’t believe anybody is advocating for cheating. However, unless somebody has evidence of it they’re willing to share, they should keep their mouth shut. In the age of the internet, these things spread like wildfire and before you know it, it’s being touted as fact or at very least brings about unsubstantiated suspicion.

This is something a lot of people in that cesspool megathread don't understand: saying there's no evidence he used the IV is different than saying he never used the IV. That and not knowing the difference between an unsubstantiated claim and a substantiated claim.

What's just as likely is that a bunch of butthurt meatheads were sitting around talking shit in a game of conspiratorial telephone and Bareman realized that there might be legal consequences to lies and exaggerations. IMO.
