It could really be that for some reasons some people just don’t want to talk. Like for instance you don’t want to fall from a window like people for some reason regularly do in Russia.

My point is it could be true though. Lots of guys in the industry know a guy who might know a guy and so on. This gym is going to have lots of fighters who mainly fight domestically in Australia so you have to figure these fighters form relationship with the hospital staff that treat them and their teammates after fights.Exactly. Without any concrete evidence people are jumping the gun based off of a few tweets and the word of a couple people, ruining Islam's reputation and attempting to invalidate his win. The burden of proof is on that camp and so far they've provided absolutely nothing. As of now, no governing body who oversees regulations has been notified of an incident and the comission in Australia has no knowledge of anyone cheating.
For me this is on par with people saying fights are rigged or judges are corrupt: whining and histrionics.
Absurd to think anyone would get threatened like that over an IV. But a nurse with this inside information based on his association with other medical professionals could very well know yet be hesitant to testify publicly about it for fear of violating a code of ethics or something like that.It could really be that for some reasons some people just don’t want to talk. Some aussie boys drink a lot, like multi-day benders.
I wonder how much of it was drunk-tweeting?
Does Abdelaziz have any Oceania clients?
If so, and if there was an IV, then leverage exists to silence things, because lots of people IV cheat?
If not, no leverage, and yet the Oceania gang so far has only produced angry unsubstantiated tweets?
IMO, we need one of two outcomes:
1 - full transparency with appropriate sanctions, or
2 - hoooker gotta pay.
Crazier things happen in Russia and to people in other countries, who have exposed something what puts russians with the right connections to a bad light. My point is it could be true though. But of course we fans should give Islam the benefit of the doubt. Also Hooker seems like the guy that just mindlessly throws out jabs and accusations coming from him it seems less credible. Volk is a guy with a good head on his shoulders, him saying something like this would be different IMO.

or STOP using social media to yell FIRE every time you Need a little emotional pick me upNo complaint, no investigation.
So much fuss for nothing.
I guess Dan Hooker should have went to the comission.
He always could put on fights with banned athletes even if the NSAC/CSAC issued a ban. Going to fight island or some other random corner of the earth has always been available.Serious question - so what happens if the Australian Commission does find evidence of someone using an IV/ other banned substances? If they impose a ban / fine on Makhachev, the NSAC/CSAC are under no obligation to honor it. Dana can just have Makhachev fight on the fight "island" in the Middle East, and then not bring the UFC back to Australia for the next 3 years because he's a vindictive mofo.
yeah, he really should have. putting something like that on blast via social media is almost always a bad idea, not least because it could tip guilty people off and influence potential witnesses. No complaint, no investigation.

but really, the writing is on the wall. even if islam was using the iv to rehydrate (calm your tits fanboys, not definitively claiming he did), the people in charge are clearly not interested in investigating, much less disciplining him. usada amended its anti-doping rules to basically allow ivs now (see p. 10) if done with a nurse. ali knew all about this when he made that incriminating tweet. and when you see the commission put out a statement like this, you can tell they’re never taking any action. they’re not gonna cross the ufc and chase away millions of dollars of business. reporting anything to that commission is at best a waste of time, and likely more trouble than its worth. don’t be a hero.
IDK about ruining Islam s reputation. I think you need more than a baseless claim to ruin s someone s reputation. Only on online cesspools like sherdog will haters continue to mention it.Exactly. He's now in the 3rd stage of grief - bargaining...he kinda want to admit there's nothing really, but still can't let go...At least you are being somewhat open minded about it now. I admit it doesn't look the best for Islam, but I'd like some form of proof before condemning him. I can't say for sure he did or didn't but there is some funny things that went down from everybody, I just refuse to condemn without something more concrete.

I would definitely rule it out, that's not gonna happen. More likely is that the source for Bareman is a medical professional who doesn't want to out himself as the source. Bareman also admits that even with his source its not entirely clear that Islam cheated or even used an IV as there is a loophole that allows it. It seems they're not even clear if the IV use was by Islam or Zubaira, their contact probably said something like "dude all I know was its a Russian guy with a neckbeard"Crazier things happen in Russia and to people in other countries, who have exposed something what puts russians with the right connections to a bad light.
So would not rule that out.
But yeah let’s see what happens, this is not forgotten that fast.
Borderline illegal tarnishing reputation with baseless accusations? No, they should demand an apology from Islam, imo
Where have you been the last decade? We report things to Twitter now, not the authoritiesHooker has been very outspoken on Twitter but didn't even bother to make an official compliant to the commission... Okay.
their contact probably said something like "dude all I know was its a Russian guy with a neckbeard"
Hey man, hold on to copeno apology will be necessary as we'll see in good time
for being whiny bitches and spouting off without evidencewhy should they appologize?
